Thongnopnua, the Democratic candidate for Tennessee’s 30th State House District, released his first campaign ad ‘Working Families First’ ahead of the start of Early Voting next week.
The ad highlights Thongnopnua’s life story, growing up in East Ridge, Tennessee, and his vision for Tennessee. He also talks about moving beyond partisan politics in order to ensure District 30 has a representative that will prioritize funding local schools and expand access to health care.
“I wanted to share my optimism about where we could go as Tennesseans, despite some of the challenges we face, because this campaign and the people I have met throughout it have continued to inspire me every day,” Thongnopnua said. “This ad is about the American Dream, something I really believe in, but we have to fight to preserve it here in Tennessee.”
Featuring supporters, residents, and campaign volunteers, the release of the ad marks the beginning of when many voters are beginning to pay attention.
“This campaign has always been about real ideas and looking forward. That’s why, unlike a lot of campaigns, we are walking into the general election with optimism and positivity,” noted Thongnopnua. “I believe people want solutions, not more partisan politics. That’s the note we tried to hit here—and I think we knocked it out of the park.”
In the final weeks of the campaign, Thongnopnua’s campaign noted it plans to highlight the individual issues and stories of residents from across District 30 to accompany the ad. To find out more about Thongnopnua’s campaign and his story, visit www.votejoda.com.
