Severe storms are predicted to hit our area on Sunday, bringing with it the possibility of tornadoes and damaging hail.
According to the National Weather Service a strong storm system will move across the Tennessee Valley producing two rounds of showers and thunderstorms - one in the morning and one in the late afternoon/evening. The main concern will be damaging winds, but isolated tornadoes and hail up to half dollar size will be possible.
