East Ridge Rips Red Bank in Girls' Soccer

East Ridge got three goals from Lucy Lopez and two each from Ana Stanford and Helen Sales as the Lady Pioneers ripped Red Bank, 10-1, in girls’ high school soccer.

The win was East Ridge’s second in District 8/AA play against no losses and brings its overall record to 6-1. The Lady Pioneers will host district rival Sequatchie County next Tuesday. Game time is 7 p.m.

Also getting in on the scoring act for East Ridge was Ana Villegas, Rebeca Mendez and Naida Xiloi Hernandez. Alexis Adams scored the only goal for Red Bank.

Sales was credited with two assists in the contest Kolbi Record also had an assist, as did Hernandez.

Goalkeeper Sarah Hudgens had three saves.
