East Ridge police are trying to sort out the facts of a possible abduction, drugging and assault of a young woman perhaps by female gang members.
According to a police report, officers responded to an unknown 911 call in the 1300 block of Greenslake Road on Saturday. The party making the call told dispatch that three parties were trying to kill her with guns. When police officers arrived and spoke with the victim, she told them that she had been held against her will and drugged at an unknown house or apartment somewhere in East Ridge by three black females.
The victim showed officers a photo on Facebook that she was tagged in by a user named “Cacia Iz Bacc.” The photo showed the victim passed out and the caption read “Dis bi— finally in ha casket bi— please.”
The woman told police that the incident started when the three black females showed up to her residence in the 4500 block of Shawhan Road in Chattanooga asking to borrow her car. When she said they couldn’t, they asked her to come out with them. The woman agreed, although she told officers she didn’t know the suspects well at all. After riding around for several hours they all went back to the victim’s residence in Chattanooga before deciding to go to another night spot in the Southside area.
The report states the group spent several hours at the Southside Social nightspot before leaving to go to an unknown house/apartment in East Ridge where they all continued to party. It was at this point that the victim told police that the three women “slipped some kind of crystal-like substance in her drink.”
The victim said she began to feel weak and she told police that the other three then began a “live” video on Facebook where they were flashing guns and threatening to kill her over something she had written on Facebook. The report states that the victim told officers the three suspects were gang members, believed to be Bloods, because they kept referring to each other as “blood” when speaking.
When the victim awoke the next morning, she allegedly overheard the suspects planning to cut her hair off when she woke up and then beat her severely and ultimately kill her by shooting her in the head. The report states that the suspects allegedly told one another they would leave and return later but made sure to charge the victim’s cellphone so it wouldn’t die so that anyone trying to contact her wouldn’t be alarmed.
The victim told police that she waited for the suspect to leave the house before running to the 1300 block of Greenslake to call authorities for help. She told officers that she ran/walked for five minutes from where she was being held.
The report states that the victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The case has been assigned to a detective. When the detective went to the victim’s home to speak with her, the victim reported to him that her car was stolen. It was later found by the victim’s roommate at East Lake Academy and returned to her residence.
Further investigation is pending, the report states.
