Walston Succeeds Retiring Chief Randy Camp
RINGGOLD – Catoosa County Fire Department Assistant Chief of Operations Daniel Walston was appointed to serve as the next Chief of the Catoosa County Fire Department, following the retirement of longtime Chief Randy Camp.
Chief Walston was chosen for his outstanding service to Catoosa County and his experience with leading the day-to-day operations of the Catoosa County Fire Department since 2019. Chief Walston joined the Catoosa County Fire Department in 2009 as a Firefighter and worked his way through the ranks of Fire Apparatus Operator, Officer in Charge, Assistant Chief of Training and Special Operations, and to Chief of Operations.

I am proud to have earned the confidence and respect from my fellow firefighters and County leadership.”
Chief Walston assumes leadership of the Catoosa County Fire Department immediately following the retirement of Chief Camp at the end of day Friday, February 16.
