Two men are facing multiple drug and weapons charges after East Ridge Police executed a search warrant at their Donaldson Road home on Friday.
According to a press release, Koby Proctor and John Coulter were arrested subsequent to a search of a house at 883 Donaldson Rd. The warrant stemmed from several weeks of investigation following community complaints.
Proctor, 19, was charged with Possession of Schedule VI for Resale, Possession of Schedule I for Resale, Possession of Schedule IV for Resale, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was jailed on a $66,500 bond.
Coulter, 63, was charged with Possession of Schedule VI for Resale, Possession of Schedule I, Possession of Schedule IV, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was jailed on a $44,000 bond.
According to the press release, officers seized just under $20,000 in cash, almost three pounds of marijuana, 28.7 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and 35 pressed Xanax pills.
Police also seized a shotgun, nine pistols. and three rifles
It was noted in the press release that the counterfeit Xanax pills seized represent a concerning trend in the community, as they often contain chemicals other than what are being sought by the end user and are commonly found to contain Fentanyl.
The department extended its thanks to the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms for its assistance in the arrests.
