September 02 – Day Shift
5504 Sunny Dell Lane (hit and run):
Pedro Lucas was arrested on a variety of traffic and driving offenses after striking a car and leaving the scene. (21-012658)
5911 Ringgold Road (assist fire):
Police responded to Tweety’s Auto Sales in regards to a vehicle on fire next to a building. ERFD arrived and extinguished the fire. (21-012660)
3920 Ringgold Road (disorder/suspicious persons):
The manager of Dollar General reported a thin white male and a female in a sundress going through the dumpster and making a mess. The manager advised that when she asked them to clean up the mess, the male subject became confrontational with her. Officers checked the area but did not locate the parties. (21-012661)

September 02 – Night Shift
6600 Ringgold Rd (DUI 21-01267):
Sergio Meija was taken into custody for DUI and driving while revoked.
1300 block Greens Lake Rd (AOA Warrant Arrest 21-012678):
Joshua Anderson was detained on a Hamilton County warrant and transported to Silverdale.
1300 S Seminole (Crash 21-012681):
Police, FIRE and EMS responded to a single vehicle motorcycle crash with serious injuries. The two parties on the motorcycle were transported to Erlanger Hospital. An East Ridge traffic investigator responded to process evidence.
4222 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-012684):
Robert Thompson was taken into custody for possession of Oxycodone, Marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
6700 Ringgold Rd (Evading 21-012683):
Police stopped a black Ford sedan for traffic violations. The vehicle fled the stop eastbound on Ringgold Rd. Officers did not pursue the vehicle.
3326 Ringgold Rd (Theft 21-012682):
A homeless male summoned police to report his blanket had been stolen while he was sleeping next to the car wash.
3200 Ringgold Rd (DUI 21-012685):
Police observed a black Chrysler 300 sit through multiple stop light cycles at the intersection of Ringgold Road and South Seminole. Police made contact with the driver who was unconscious. As officers awakened the individual the car began rolling forward. Police had to break the passenger side window, enter through the passenger door and stop it. Pascual Escobar was taken into custody for DUI, open container, criminal simulation and driving while suspended.

September 03 – Day Shift
21-012699- 3500 blk of Ringgold Road- Found Firearm-
TDOT located a firearm on the side of the road this morning. The slide and barrel showed extensive signs of rust. The magazine contained six hollow point rounds with a seventh round in the chamber. It was placed into property and evidence.
21-012700- 323 Camp Jordan Parkway- Suspicious Person-
Arena staff called to report a homeless female attempting to make the gravel lot pavilion her home. Once on scene police advised the female to leave. she complied.
21-012702- 6721 Ringgold Road (Family Dollar)- Suspicious Person-
The homeless female from the previous incident called in to advise she was being watched by the staff at the business. She requested police transport her to the community kitchen. Once on scene police determined the female was experiencing a medical event. HCEMS responded and transported her to Parkridge East.
21-012708- 6800 blk of Ringgold Road- Found Firearm-
A utility worker reported finding a black pump action shotgun lying next to the roadway. Ft Oglethorpe PD and ERPD both responded to the scene and determined the firearm was in East Ridge. The firearm was found to be a Stevens shotgun with a homemade pistol grip; however, a heavy amount of paint covered the model number and serial number. The firearm was placed into property and evidence.

September 03 – Night Shift
(21-012739) 5002 Covington/ auto theft suspect captured:
Police arrested a juvenile male inside a stolen Acura. Police also recovered a stolen tag displayed on said Acura.
1500 block Prater Rd / Arrest: 21-012725
Police were called to a fight which was not located. While in the area police contacted Jessie Land who was found to have fresh scratches and blood on him. As a result of his contact with police he was ultimately taken into custody for public intoxication after police determined he was not safe to be left alone.
6700 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service: 21-012738
Jessica Goldsmith was taken into custody for East Ridge warrants after she was located at the Quality Inn. Goldsmith was also trespassed from the property at the request of the hotel.

September 04 – Day Shift
21-012747- 3605 Phelps Street- Suspicious Activity-
On scene police met with the reporting party who stated at approximately 0605, an unknown male was in his driveway looking in his vehicle. The RP stated the male did not enter his vehicle and walked over to his neighbor’s house after he lost interest with his home. The RP then showed police a video of a male wearing a light color hoodie and hat walking up to his vehicle. He stated that he had never seen the male and did not know his identity. After speaking with the RP, police checked the surrounding homes, but did not locate any additional suspicious activity or the unknown male.
21-012748- 4338 Ringgold Road (Food Lion)- Delayed Shoplifting-
The assistant manager reported a delayed shoplifting incident from the previous day. The manager stated after a review of their security camera files, he determined that two unknown males left the store with $517.58 worth of products without paying for them on September 3, 2021, at approximately 15:01. The two suspects loaded a red sedan and drove out of the parking lot heading toward Ringgold Road. The store management stated they would prosecute the primary suspect if he is identified.
21-012750- 3300 blk of Ringgold Road- Warrant Service-
Police conducted a traffic stop on a blue Chevy Impala for speeding in the 3300 block. The driver, Amber Worley, was found to have an active warrant through East Ridge for alias capias (driving on suspended). She was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail to be booked. She was also issued several traffic citations.
21-012756- 6700 Ringgold Road (Quality Inn)- Traffic Stop/Arrest-
Wilmer Sherrard was taken into custody following a traffic stop at the motel. Sherrard had active warrants out of the county. While conducting a search incident to arrest, police located two ounces of methamphetamine, and 6.5 grams of heroin. Sherrard was charged with possession of meth, possession of heroin, and driving on revoked. He was also issued several citations and transported to Silverdale.

September 04 – Night Shift
3657 Ringgold Road / Arrest: (21-012794)
While conducting a consensual encounter at the Cascade’s Motel, police contacted Mary Holder and found her to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Holder was also found to have active warrants through the City of Red Bank. Holder was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
21-012784 1410 Mack Smith Road / Disorder with a Weapon / Arrest:
A 13-year-old female was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault following a call at this location.
(21-012793) 1304 Pleasant St/ Criminal trespass:
Police arrested Heather Smith after she was found trespassing in a burned and condemned house.
4348 Ringgold Road / Unconscious person (21-012788):
Checkers employees called and advised there was an unconscious male in the bathroom. Police arrived on the scene to find the party awake and walking around. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.
4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service (21-012790):
Tavoris Hazelray was served with three East Ridge forfeiture capias warrants. Paperwork was faxed to the jail, where he was in custody.
