Aug. 30 Day Shift
21-012499- 1100 Spring Creek Road (Spring Creek Elementary)- Unruly Child-
The principal called police for assistance with an unruly fifth grader refusing to exit his parent’s vehicle. Once on scene police spoke with a female subject. She advised she was the mother of the 12-year-old juvenile in the passenger seat. She stated that her son refused to get out of the vehicle and go to school. Police also spoke with the juvenile and he advised he did not like the school and did not want to go inside. Police then assisted the woman with moving her son into the school. The school staff were aware of the situation and took control of the juvenile once he was inside the facility.
21-012504- 1100 block South Seminole Drive- Disorder/Sex Offence-
Police were called to this address regarding a disorder. Once on scene police spoke to all parties involved and found a sex offence had occurred. CID was notified. This incident is still under investigation.
21-012505- 4314 Ringgold Road (East Ridge Cab Company)- Suspicious Person-
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a male subject wearing green scrubs walking around erratically. The caller stated the male party seemed to be very agitated and was currently talking to a brick mailbox. Once on scene police spoke with the man. He was obviously intoxicated and a danger to himself. Police attempted to locate him a ride home, but no one contacted was willing. He was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to Silverdale.
21-0012508- Oakdale Avenue @ Swope Drive- Vandalism/Shots Fired-
The caller advised unknown suspects in a blue Maxima shot out the window to his vehicle to gain entry. Once confronted, the suspects fled while brandishing the firearm. Nothing was taken. This incident is still under investigation.
21-012509- 1024 Greenslake Road- Domestic Assault-
The caller advised she was assaulted by her brother during an argument. Erwin Baneges was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was transported to Silverdale.

Night Shift
21-012516- 409 Frawley Road / Stolen Vehicle-
Police observed a stolen vehicle from a BOLO out of Chattanooga and conducted a traffic stop. The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen. A Chattanooga unit responded to the scene and took custody of the driver, Shelly Porch. The manager from the dealership where Porch stole the vehicle recovered their truck on scene.
