Jimmie Villalobos scored in the 79th minute to lift the Red Wolves to a 2-1 win over South Georgia Tormenta in USL League One play, Saturday at CHI Memorial Stadium.
The win improves the R’ Wolves to 9-8-5 in league play. The team is now 3-0-3 in their past six matches. The team remains in fourth place in the standings with 32 points.
The winning goal was the result of a corner kick, compliments of a Ryley Kraft assist.
Juan Galindrez scored at the end of the first half to draw the Red Wolves even. It was Galindrez’s 10th goal of the year.
The Red Wolves will travel to North Carolina next Saturday, taking on the Charlotte Independence (8-8-5).
