The Red Wolves lost to Tucson FC, 2-1, Saturday on the road in USL League One play.
The R’ Wolves are now 10-10-7 in league play but still in contention for one of six playoff spots.
Fouls loomed large in this match, with the first two goals coming on penalty kicks. Daniel Bedoya scored a penalty kick for Tucson in the 30th minute, while Moe Espinoza knotted the score for the R’ Wolves five minutes later.
Kaelon Fox scored what turned out to be the winning goal in the 67th minute.
The Red Wolves will return to CHI Memorial Stadium on Saturday where they will face Charlotte. The last home match of the season kicks off at 7:30 p.m.
