The slumping Red Wolves were defeated by the Richmond Kickers, 1-0, Saturday night on the road in USL League One soccer action.
The game was the third in four that the team’s offense failed to generate a point.
The Red Wolves (10-4-10) now trail Union Omaha by a single point in USL League One standings. They are five points in front of third place Greenville.
The Red Wolves will travel to face North Carolina FC on Oct. 10. They will return to CHI Memorial Stadium, hosting Toronto FC II on Oct. 16 before finishing the regular season with two matches on the road.
