The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
August 29 – Day Shift
6650 Ringgold Road (disorder):
Police were dispatched to the La Quinta Inn regarding a disorder in progress. Contact was made with a male and female who both stated the disorder was strictly verbal. Both agreed to leave the property.
1525 Burns Avenue (theft):
The resident reported the theft of a Biden sign from her yard. On previous occasions her sign had only been pulled up and left lying in the yard.
908 S. Crest (auto burglary):
The resident reported the overnight theft of over $2,000 of tools from his truck.

August 29 – Night Shift
300 Camp Jordan (Suspicious Activity 20-011388):
Reporting party stated a dark gray Ford Explorer was driving on the walking track. Vehicle was gone when police arrived
3632 Phelps (Domestic Assault 20-01391):
Jason King was taken into custody after assaulting a woman..
300 Frawley Road (FYI 20-011363):
The vehicle crash and subsequent arrest of three parties in the early morning hours of August 29 ultimately lead to the recovery of a vehicle stolen in Chattanooga. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Chattanooga at approximately 0830 hours August 29. CPD is clear on the parties who were in the vehicle and it was recovered crashed.
5730 Lee Hwy (Warrant Arrest 20-011394):
Sharla Ball was located by Chattanooga Police at the Inn Town Suites in Brainerd. She was detained for East Ridge and taken into custody on numerous warrants. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
600 S Germantown (AOA Warrant):
During a traffic stop it was learned an occupant of the vehicle Briana Jarrell had active warrants through Hamilton County. She was detained and transported to the jail.
3688 Bennett Rd (Disorder With a Weapon 20-011395):
When police arrived on scene they were met by a woman who stated her estranged boyfriend threatened her with a firearm. She stated Donte Haynes became highly agitated over the demise of their relationship. She also stated he produced a handgun from his trunk and threatened her life. Warrants sought for Aggravated Domestic Assault and Theft of Property.
5300 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 20-01):
Ricky Sharder was arrested following a traffic stop at this location after police observed he and a passenger in an active disorder. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana, DUI 4th, Driving While Revoked Habitual Offender, Resisting Arrest and Reckless Driving
300 Camp Jordan Pkwy (Juveniles 20-011405):
A juvenile male and female were located in a state of undress in the front seat of a vehicle. The juveniles were released to their parents.
6674 Ringgold Rd (Missing Person):
A woman requested police to report her 36-year-old son missing because he left the motel approximately an hour before she called police. Officers attempted to explain to Mrs. Ritz her son was an adult and could leave if he so desired. She was unhappy with the explanation and slammed the door in officer’s faces.
914 Donaldson (Suspicious Person 20-011408):
RP called about a suspicious person walking on Donaldson. Party was located walking his dog.
409 Alice Dr (Unknown 911):
Police attempted to make contact with parties who called 911. Residents refused to answer the door.
1417 St Thomas St RM 225 (Narcotics 20-011409):
Reporting party from room 228 called police in reference to a subject in room 225 selling and smoking illegal narcotics
1417 St Thomas St RM 228 (Harassment 20-011410):
RP in room 228 called again and advised dispatch the subject in room 225 was harassing her. Officers spoke with both parties and advised them to leave each other alone.
1131 John Ross (Shots Fired 20-011415):
Caller reported hearing multiple gunshots in the area. A man was located walking in the 1300 block of John Ross. He was armed with a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield handgun. The man had a valid carry permit and the firearm did not appear to have been discharged. Field interview completed and the man was released.

August 30 – Day Shift
5301 Ringgold Road (suspicious person):
Bruce Teeters was arrested on the lot of Walgreen’s for being impaired from huffing propane gas and for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
3608 Parham Drive (aggravated burglary):
The resident who was gone for the weekend came home to find his residence had been burglarized. Multiple rooms had been ransacked, and a variety of items were stolen. Entry was made through a smashed window. CID was contacted. Fingerprints couldn’t be collected due to the weather causing the window seal and shattered glass to be too moist.
302 Dunlap Avenue (noise complaint):
Police responded to this location about a Toyota Camry playing music too loudly. Police instructed the occupants to lower the music.

August 30 – Night Shift
1511 Mack Smith (Assault 20-011442):
Spencer Eason was taken into custody after discharging a firearm at a woman during an argument. Eason was charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault and Reckless Endangerment.
707 Pyron Ln (Fireworks 20-011446):
RP called requesting police check the area for fireworks. Police could detect the possible odor of fireworks but did not locate anyone discharging them.
3508 Clairmont Ave (Shots Fired 20-011450):
Reporting party stated they heard several gunshots from the area of 914 Donaldson Rd. Police located a crowd of people standing in front of the apartments but there were no signs of firearms and no shots were heard.
1410 Mack Smith Rm 2218 (Suspicious Activity 20-011451):
Reporting party stated a white male was kicking at her door. She believed the party to be a tenant on the first floor. He was asked to vacate the motel by motel security.
4131 Ringgold Rd (DUI 20-011458):
Louis Cannamore was arrested for driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane and driving while license suspended following a traffic stop at this location.
1460 Mack Smith (AOA Arrest 20-011459):
Dustin Gray was taken into custody during a traffic stop and transported to the Hamilton County Jail for violating an order of protection. The order was issued through Hamilton County Court and the protected party was in the vehicle also. The Hamilton County Jail refused to accept Gray. He was transported to Erlanger Hospital and released. Warrants will be taken.
1755 Gunbarrel Rd (Sexual Assault):
ERPD responded to Erlanger East Hospital on report of a sexual assault which occurred on State Line Rd. Once police arrived on scene it was determined the assault occurred in Georgia. Catoosa County was notified to respond.
