The following information was compiled from East Ridge Police Department “pass along” reports.
Oct. 7 Day Shift
4339 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Police got out with Eric Q. Smith who had been across the street loitering at Food Lion. Smith was arrested after police confirmed he was wanted through Hamilton County on a probation violation for possession of methamphetamine. He was turned over to the sheriff’s department.
6700 Ringgold Road (suspicious activity):
Police were called to check on a female party who appeared to be yelling at people who were not there. Misty B. advised that she was aimlessly walking around to pass the time. She appeared to be of sound mind and was allowed to go on her way.
601 Walnut Street (warrant service):
Michael Barhite was arrested at the Hamilton County Jail on an active East Ridge warrant for forgery.
601 Walnut Street (warrant service):
Darrell Walker was arrested at the Hamilton County Jail on two active East Ridge warrants for Alias Capias Driving on Revoked and Alias Capias Possession of a Stolen License Plate.
3637 Shirl Jo Lane (overdose):
A man stated he overdosed on “roxy’s” after he was revived with 12mg of Narcan. He was transported to Parkridge by Puckett Ambulance.

Night Shift
510 S. Seminole Rd. (Property damage):
The complainant called police regarding property damage. The complainant stated his vehicle was vandalized. Someone had spray painted “SOS” on the side of his car. There was damage that appeared to be from bricks being thrown at the car as well. No suspect information at this time.
3220 Gleason Dr. (Property damage):
The resident called police regarding a window on his apartment door being busted with a rock. Police spoke with the man who stated he heard some juveniles running around outside his apartment and laughing, that’s when he heard a rock hit his window. The resident believes it was the juveniles but did not actually see the person who threw the rock.
900 S. Seminole Rd. (warrant svc):
Following a traffic stop, Mystica Brown, was taken into custody for a Hamilton County Warrant for domestic assault. Ms. Brown was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
507 S Lovell Ave (property damage):
The complainant advised that around 1422 hours security cameras captured a juvenile boy coming onto his property and removing a pin that was in his trailer causing the trailer to come detached on I-24. Due to the trailer coming off it caused damage to his 2011 Chevy Tahoe. The man was advised to make an additional report with CPD due to where the trailer came off.
544 Benson Dr (Missing Adult):
A woman reported that her 29-year-old son left their residence on Oct 5 and had not returned. The woman’s son is a mental health consumer and does not have his medication with him. He was entered into NCIC and a BOLO was sent to neighboring agencies.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Service):
Dominique Jones was arrested at the Hamilton County Jail on two active East Ridge Warrants. The charges were Evading Arrest and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
5700 Ringgold Road/Poss of meth:
Anthony Cardenas was arrested during a consensual encounter. Police located 1.65 grams of meth in Cardenas’ pocket after he allowed police to search his pockets. Police located a glass pipe in the vehicle that Cardenas was sitting in after admitting it was his.
5707 Ringgold Road/Field Interview:
Police spoke with a man after observing him walk around the front of Dollar General while the business was closed. The man stated that he was picking up cigarette butts. A Field Interview was conducted and he was sent on his way.
