The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.
October 17– Day Shift
482 Mcbrien Road (At Home Store) on a theft:
The store manager and reporting party stated a black male, approximately 65 years of age, walked out to his vehicle and started pulling items out of his pants and putting them into his vehicle and he left. The manager provided police with a Tennessee tag number. The tag number came back to a white 2003 Lincoln Town Car registered to a Sam Jones with an address of a Highland Avenue address in Chattanooga, Tn 37410. The manager stated she doesn’t know what was stolen or the total value but all she wanted was for them not to come back to the store.
6514 Ringgold Rd:
Police were dispatched to the Mapco regarding a male party asleep on the property after being asked several times to leave. Justin Evans was checked for warrants and left without incident. Mapco did not wish to issue a trespass warning.
500 S Seminole Dr on a vandalism call:
The complainant stated that unknown suspect(s) broke the kitchen window on the southside of his residence. The complainant stated on this date he left for work around 0615 hours and the window was still intact. At approximately 0733 hours he received a phone call from his mother at the residence stating that the window had been broken. The complainant informed police that this is the second broken window at his residence in approximately one week. He does not have proof, however he suspects the children from the apartment complex on Sheridan behind his residence are at fault. The complainant estimated the damage to the kitchen window to be approximately $500.00.

October 17 – Night Shift
6514 Ringgold Rd (disorder):
An employee of the business called in stating a homeless man, later identified as Justin Evans was being disruptive. She stated Mr. Evans was being rude over her making the wrong coffee and wanted him to leave. Evans stated he was homeless and walking to Colorado from Florida for the past 12 months. He was advised to leave the property and keep walking.
Daniel Tackett (warrant service):
Daniel Tackett was arrested and booked at the Hamilton County Jail on East Ridge Warrants for Vandalism and Aggravated Assault.
601 Walnut (Warrant):
Alexis Jordan was taken arrested for two warrants out of East Ridge for possession schedule I and drug category for resale.
601 Walnut (Warrant):
Savannah Parsons was arrested on an East Ridge warrant for driving on suspended.
5434 Ringgold Rd (Traffic stop):
Christian Martinez was arrested for possession with intent of crack cocaine, possession with intent of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at this location.
1417 St Thomas Street (Warrant):
Christopher Hilt was arrested on multiple Hamilton County warrants following a traffic stop at this location.
5814 Ringgold Rd, Suite C (Shots Fired):
An employee at the Ink Expressions Piercing Shop reported that a projectile was fired through the window of the business. Police located a small hole with spalling consistent with a pellet gun being fired at the business. No suspect information.
5812 Ringgold Rd (Vandalism):
Employees at the Ink Expressions reported that a vending machine and the back parking area were vandalized the previous evening. Police found brown paint on a Coca Cola machine and the asphalt.
44 Franklin Pl/Traffic stop:
Steven Lawson was arrested for a Catoosa County Warrant following a traffic stop at this location.
4300 Ringgold Road/Traffic stop:
Shawna Tipton was arrested on a Hamilton County Warrant following a traffic stop at this location.

October 18 – Day Shift
4100 Ringgold Road-
Warrant Service/Traffic Stop- Hanna Raisler was arrested and transported to 601 following a traffic stop.
3508 Ringgold Road (Walgreens)-
Shoplifting- The caller advised an unknown white male suspect took 71.00 in merchandise yesterday at approximately 1650 hours. Management waited to report until the video could be reviewed.
6210 Ringgold Road (Snapdragon Hemp)-
Vandalism- Sometime before 1000 hours today someone attempted to shoot out the front window of the business. The damage appears to have been caused by a pellet or bb. There are currently no suspects.
4214 Ringgold Road (Police Department)-
Warrant Service- Dorothea Woods came by the office today with her bondsman to turn herself in on East Ridge warrants. She was disappointed to find out the Sheriff’s Office also had warrants for her arrest. She was transported to 601.
3614 Gleason Drive-
Suspicious Vehicle- The caller advised of a white van stopping at his property twice. He advised he observed the driver walking behind the house. Upon arrival the van had left the area.
Greenbriar Road @ Schmidt Road-
Disorder- The caller advised of a white male on a small loud motorcycle driving in the area. She advised the driver cursed her when she asked him to stop disturbing the neighborhood. Upon arrival police located the mini motorcycle and the driver. He was advised to not have contact with his neighbor.
1100 Spring Creek Road (Spring Creek Elementary)-
Disorder/Custody Issue/Arrest- The caller, Sharion Fulks advised she was being denied access to her child by the school. Upon arrival it was found she did not currently have custody of the child and per the school was not welcome on the property. Fulks continually disregarded officer’s requests to stop causing a scene. She was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Spring Creek Road Overpass (Chattanooga City)-
Suspicious Person/AOA- Dispatch requested East Ridge officers assist Chattanooga police with a call in their jurisdiction. They advised of a white female walking on the overpass looking over the edge. The caller requested police check on the party fearing she may be suicidal. Officers checked the area but didn’t locate the female.
4222 Ringgold Road (Speedway)-
Suspicious People- The caller advised of children walking back and forth between the business and the park. Upon arrival the children were located at the rec center and were spoken to.

October 18– Night Shift
4340 Ringgold Road (Top Nails) / Alarm:
Police responded to Top Nails on a motion alarm. Upon arrival, all doors were secure and no indication of forcible entry being made. Key Holder arrived and conducted a walk through and determine that nothing appeared to be missing.
6200 Ringgold Rd / DUI:
Stacey Smith was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at this location.

October 19 – Night Shift
6721 Ringgold Road (Family Dollar) / Criminal Simulations:
Responded to the Family Dollar Store for a Deceptive Practice complaint. Two Black Females bought merchandise on 10/15/19 and paid with a counterfeit $50 bill. The paper of the bill passed the pen and blue light test but didn’t possess the security strip embedded on the bill. A teller at BB&T bank discovered the fraudulent bill when the Family dollar management attempted to deposit it in to the bank. The teller also mentioned that the bank received another bill matching Family Dollar’s exactly (including the serial number and a signature on the right side of the bill). The Family Dollar ASM emailed pictures of the suspect and provide a copy of the bill for LEO reference.
900 Belvoir Avenue/Crash-Property Damage:
A north bound white Mitsubishi Outlander stopped for a crash involving to two vehicles. While stopped, a Camero passed the SUV hitting a mail box not stopping and continues north bound on Belvoir Avenue. Before pulling off, a red Nissan Frontier hit the rear of the Outlander. While the drivers were out of the vehicles, a Nissan SUV ran into rear of the Frontier. It was raining.
1508 Karwill Lane / Shots fired:
RP contacted police after hearing what sounded like a loud gunshot the came from 1511 Prigmore Street. Police spoke to the residents and they explained that their old truck backfired.
513 Donaldson Rd. / Assist EMS:
Police responded to this location to assist EMS with an intoxicated party. The individual was transported Memorial Hospital by EMS without incident.
75 24 Split / Crash:
Police assisted CPD in attempting to locate a crashed motorcycle in the wood-line, the motorcycle was located but not the driver.

October 20 – Day Shift
3919 Bennett Road-
Animal Call- Police were dispatched regarding a skittish dog in the roadway. Animal control responded and handled the call.
1318 West End Avenue-
Aggravated Burglary- The caller advised she and the family left this morning at approximately 0900 hours, returning at 1500 hours to find the residence had been entered and items taken. The victim stated entry was made through an unlocked window. She advised a laptop and a full bottle of Hydrocodone were taken. She believes acquaintances are responsible for the burglary as they are familiar with the residence and where items are kept, however she has no evidence to support her claim. On Call CID was contacted and made aware of the incident.
4334 Ringgold Road (Regions Bank)-
Found Property- The caller advised a set of keys were found in the night drop at the bank. They were put in property.
1601 Prigmore Road-
Disorder- Police were dispatched on a disorder between neighbors. Upon arrival all parties involved were advised to leave each other alone.

October 20 – Night Shift
1402 Boyd Street / MVC No Injuries:
Police responded to investigate a traffic crash involving a Honda Accord and a Toyota RAV4. The Toyota was towed by Broome’s due to damage sustained.
Tamarac Trail @ Chippawa Drive/Suspicious Person:
Unit sent for a person standing at the corner. Police talked with James Johnson of 1154 Chippawa Drive. A warrant for VOP was found out of General Sessions Court. Johnson was transported to Hamilton County Jail on the warrant.
1115 S. Seminole Rd. / DUI:
Walter Perez was taken into custody for DUI after he wrecked his vehicle at thus location.
6726 Ringgold Road / Theft:
Police spoke with a woman who advised that her car key was stolen after she accidentally left it at the front counter at Wendy’s. Police reviewed the camera footage. The key appeared to be taken by a white male with a skinny build, black shirt with white writing, unzipped black hoodie, and blue jeans. Management at Wendy’s advised that they couldn’t get police a copy of the camera footage, but should be able to get it on day shift.
