_ 809 Belvoir Hills Dr.: Police spoke with a complainant who said that the house he is renovating had been burglarized sometime between Feb. 15 and Feb. 29. According to a police report, the victim said a thief gained entry into the house through a basement door. The man told officers that he is missing his furniture and various electronics valued at $15,000. The report states that craftsman working on the house had been in and out multiple times. The victim was given a stolen property sheet to list the stolen items. At the time of the report, the victim had no model numbers or serial numbers to provide investigators.
_ 6503 Burr St.: Police responded to the address on a theft complaint. According to a police report, the victim said that his former roommate had taken a pistol from the house on Jan. 23. The victim told officers that he had spoken with the roommate several times about the gun. He said the roommate admitted to taking the pistol _ a Ruger LC9 9mm _ and said he would return it. According to the report, the victim told police that the roommate has yet to return the pistol and has made several threats against him and his girlfriend. The victim said that prior to calling the police about the theft the roommate had driven by his house at least twice. On one occasion, the victim said he received a threatening text from the roommate. The pistol was entered into the National Crime Information Center database as stolen. The report states a warrant will be issued for theft against the former roommate.
