The following information was provided from East Ridge Police Department “pass along” reports.
July 24 Day Shift
I-75 Welcome Center:
A man who called from Ohio recently stopped by the Welcome Center in East Ridge to use the bathroom. While in the stall he removed his Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 9mm handgun and placed it on the toilet paper dispenser. Upon finishing he returned to his vehicle forgetting his handgun in the restroom. Later, when he realized what he had done he contacted the Welcome Center where staff informed him the gun was missing from the bathroom, and it had not been turned in. The man resides in Kentucky and advised that he will call back to provide the serial number to the gun.
6408 Ringgold Road:
The owner of Dunkin Donuts called police concerning four (4) homeless people sleeping on the rear of her parking lot. Per her request the group was criminally trespassed and instructed to leave.
3801 Fountain Avenue:
The resident called police to report finding a fresh bullet hole in the hood of his 2001 Mazda truck. The resident is unclear when the incident occurred, but his truck hasn’t been moved in several days.
915 S. Seminole Drive:
Police responded to a wrecker service located at 7438 Lee Highway after the 2005 Scion TC towed from the Ridge Terrace apartments was later confirmed as stolen from Signal Mountain. Signal Mountain PD and the owner were contacted.
1648 Waterhouse Street:
The resident reported that his neighbor witnessed a young male wearing a hoodie and riding a bicycle take pictures of his residence.
712 Signal Mountain Road:
Barbara Jarnagin was arrested on two (2) outstanding warrant for passing worthless checks and an alias capias for theft. Chattanooga Police Department transported her to the Hamilton County Jail.
1023 South Seminole Drive:
A woman called due to her two (2) young sons that were involved in a disorder. Upon arrival police spoke with the juveniles and she was advised on the process of obtaining juvenile attachments.

Night Shift
109 Hillsdale Drive:
The resident found what looks like a .380 projectile in her driveway.
1226 Reece Avenue:
A rottweiler named “Motown” was wandering around the neighborhood. An ER Animal Services employee returned “Motown” to his owner at 1415 Reece Avenue.
935 Spring Creek Road:
Doriam Mato was arrested at this location for public intoxication. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
941 Spring Creek Road:
Police were dispatched regarding a young child walking down Spring Creek Road. Police contacted a four-year old male, who had walked out of his residence while his mother was in the shower. The child’s mother showed up to the hospital and they were reunited.
3609 Ida Belle Lane:
Police were called in reference to two (2) vehicles parked outside this location. Police contacted a female party who advised she was being dropped off after a night of drinking. She also advised she and her friends were attempting to find a sober party to drive the second vehicle. Police thanked the female and parties for being responsible.
4006 Bennett Road:
Police responded to this location to secure the scene for East Ridge Fire personnel and EMS to enable them to safely respond to a medical call.
3636 Indian Trail:
Police contacted the resident of this location after receiving a complaint about a barking dog. The owner of the dog brought it in for the night.
