The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.
Jan. 21 Day Shift
3446 Bennett Road- Vehicle Fire-
Police responded with Fire to this address regarding a truck on fire. Upon arrival the truck was fully engulfed in flames. ERFD was able to extinguish the blaze.
6104 North Mack Smith Road (Dialysis Clinic)- Alarm-
Police responded and checked the business. The alarm was found to be accidental.
915 S. Seminole Drive – Unknown Trouble-
Upon arrival police contacted a male subject. He called 911 due to believing he was dehydrated. EMS responded and transported him to Parkridge East for further medical assistance. Police were advised by another person on scene that the party transported was under the influence of narcotics and had been acting abnormal all evening.
6600 blk of Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/Evading-
While on patrol police observed a red Ford truck traveling west in the 6600 block. A registration check revealed the registration plate, TN 3N14T7 should have been displayed on a white 2008 Land Rover. Police attempted a traffic stop but truck failed to halt for emergency equipment. The Ford truck accelerated at a high rate of speed through a congested construction zone north on Interstate 75. Officers did not pursue. Driver is currently unknown.
4150 Ringgold Road (Walmart)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised there was a white male in the parking lot yelling at himself. Upon arrival officers located a male subject. Officers are familiar with him and he is known to have several mental health problems. He was taken into protective custody and transported to Parkridge East for further assistance.
902 Sunny Dell Circle- Abandoned Vehicle-
The caller advised of a white Ford escort left partially in the roadway. He advised the vehicle hadn’t moved since Saturday. Upon arrival the vehicle was checked through dispatch and returned not stolen. It was stickered as abandoned.
1044 Hurst Street- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised a Hispanic male was going door to door attempting to sell security systems. The male was gone on police arrival. It is believed the male is affiliated with the same company attempting to sell security systems on Ealy Road yesterday.
6107 Bermuda Avenue- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised a white male going door to door attempting to sell security systems. Upon arrival officers located the male on Floyd Drive. It was found the male works with the same company attempting to sell security systems on Ealy Road yesterday. The male was able to show a Chattanooga issued permit for door to door sales. He was advised to obtain an East Ridge city permit.
3920 Ringgold Road (Dollar General)- Shoplifting-
The caller advised a black male and female stole laundry detergent from the store and left the area in a blue Dodge Durango. The suspects are unknown.
Warrant Service-
Police responded to 6215 Dayton Blvd (Hamilton County Probation) and arrested Pedro Garcia Gonzalez on an East Ridge Capias for Petition to Revoke for Driving Under the Influence ER#130607. He was transported to 601.

Night Shift
601 Walnut Street/Arrest-Warrant:
Daniel J. Tackett was arrested on CAPIAS warrants of Aggravated Assault and Vandalism. Tackett’s court date set for March 17, 2020.
1905 Honeycutt Lane / Burglary in Progress:
Resident stated that three people were in her house. Upon arrival, police could not locate any perpetrators or signs of forced entry. Officers ensured all windows and doors were locked then departed. Thirty minutes passed and officers were dispatched to this location for a second time. As officers spoke to the elderly woman living at the address, she pointed and stated that the two women standing next to the officer were the ones who broke in. No women were physically present. It was evident to officers that the woman to hallucinating. The RP stated that she suffers from Parkinson’s. The RP did not wish to contact a relative to stay with her at the time of the report but stated she would contact them in the morning.
