Day Shift September 8
23-011462 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Arrest – Following a notification from an LPR (license plate reader), police were able to locate a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of the Bass Pro Shop. After an investigation, three subjects were taken into custody for theft over $5,000, constructive possession of 1.37 grams of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The vehicle was towed by the district tow truck and removed from NCIC.
Night Shift September 8
23-011466 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with three East Ridge arrest warrants at the Hamilton County Jail. The charges for the warrants were Forgery, Identity Theft, and Theft over a Thousand Dollars.
23-011474 – 3600 BLK Indian Trail – Abandoned Auto – Officers responded regarding an abandoned auto parked in the roadway. Officers observed a fictitious plate displayed on the Red Chevy Sonic. Officers observed two glass pipes consistent with narcotics use in plain view within the vehicle. Officers applied for and were granted a search warrant for the vehicle and its contents. A vehicle search yielded two glass pipes with residue, Narcan, grinder with residue and a white powdery substance.
Day Shift September 9
23-011507 – 5700 BLK Stateline Road – Assist Other Agency – East Ridge Police provided traffic control for Catoosa County Fire at the corner of Stateline Rd and Hollywood Drive. Catoosa had responded to large fire including a structure and woods on Stancil Road.
23-011496 – 6900 BLK Tiffany Lane – Aggravated Burglary – The resident reported that his ex-girlfriend entered his home without permission and took an envelope containing $1,300. He stated that he observed her as she was leaving the residence with the envelope. Warrants are being sought for aggravated burglary and theft.
23-011504- 1500 BLK Waterhouse Street- Intoxicated Party- Police were dispatched to this address where the reporting party stated a male approached her and said he would give her $20 if she would engage in sexual activity with him. When the police spoke with the woman she was intoxicated, slurring her speech, and could not stand on her own. Officers requested she contact police when she was not intoxicated to the point of passing out.
23-011505 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Harassment – The store manager reported a known male party called the store stating he wanted to see video footage of an alleged incident that happened. She told him she could not access the footage and he stated he was on the way to the store, and that if he wasn’t shown the footage, he would shoot her. Warrants are being sought against the man.
23-011496 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Vandalism – The reporting party stated she parked her vehicle near the arena and came out at 0915 hours to find her vehicle had been vandalized. No suspect information available.
23-011502 – 5400 BLK Anderson Avenue – Suspicious Activity – Officers were dispatched to this location for a report of people unloading a truck load of trash onto the street. Police arrived and contacted the parties who stated they were cleaning out the woods as a church function.
23-011503- 3620 Fountain Avenue- Unconscious Party- The reporting parties found a party unresponsive. They stated after providing 4mg of Narcan and CPR she regained consciousness. She later admitted to ingesting Fentanyl. She was transported by EMS for medical evaluation. One party had full extradition warrants from Dade County GA and was transported to jail.
Night Shift September 9
23-011512 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Assault – Police responded to a reported fight between 15-20 people. Police arrived on scene and detained multiple individuals. Police reviewed the camera footage and observed that a man assaulted the manager by headbutting him and breaking his glasses. Several subjects were trespassed from the property at the request of the manager.
23-011511 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Police responded to this location regarding a theft that had occurred via the use of in-store gift cards to purchase over $8,000 in visa gift cards. CID was notified. Warrants are to be sought upon identification of the suspects.
23-011522 – 4000 BLK Woodmont Drive – Aggravated Domestic Assault – Officers spoke with the victim who advised officers her husband had assaulted her at their home. Officers requested an ambulance to the scene due to the head trauma received by the victim. EMS was able to confirm a quarter-sized knot on the back of her head. Officers and EMS observed an approximately 2-inch scratch on her right elbow. Warrants are being sought on the suspect for Aggravated Domestic Assault.
23-011531 – 5000 BLK South Terrace – Narcotics Violation – Officers observed a silver Dodge Avenger sitting in the parking lot. Officers drove past the vehicle and, while driving past, observed a female unconscious in the driver’s seat. Officers attempted to contact the driver and, while doing so, observed burnt aluminum foil consistent with narcotics use in the passenger seat. 3 round blue pills marked with an “M30” were in plain view. Officers awoke the driver who was later identified. Officers conducted a probable cause search on the vehicle and the woman. They discovered 3 blue pills marked “M30”, a container of 24 green pills marked “M30”, burnt aluminum foil consistent with narcotics use, a glass pipe consistent with narcotics use, a bag of 659 (76.6g) blue pills marked “M30”, a box of sandwich bags, a box of aluminum foil and $1,020 US Currency. Officers took the woman into custody without further incident. She is charged with possession of Fentanyl for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Day Shift September 10
23-011540 – 5700 BLK Roper Street – Suspicious Party- Police were called to this location for a suspicious person lurking around the dumpsters. Police located the suspect and identified him. He had an active East Ridge Forfeiture Capias for Criminal Trespass. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
23-011537 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Unconscious Party – A male fell unconscious from unknown causes while attending the Remote Area Medical Clinic. Police and EMS were summoned by staff members of the clinic. The patient was transported by EMS.
23-011542 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Party – Police respond to complaints by patrons regarding an apparently homeless male. Store staff were also concerned his hygiene may interrupt the customers’ dining experience. Store management requested he be trespassed from the establishment.
23-011544 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Officers responded to a disorder. Both parties claimed the disorder was verbal only. One party, however, was found to have warrants through Hamilton County Sessions Court. He was transported to jail without incident.
23-011546 – 3600 BLK Helen Lane – Domestic Assault – Police responded to reports of a disorder with a weapon. When officers arrived, it was learned the two had been in a verbal altercation when the suspect escalated the situation by pulling a handgun from her pocket. She directed the weapon towards the victim while holding an infant in her other arm. The parties struggled physically, and the victim was able to wrestle the firearm from the suspect’s grasp. Police viewed video of the event leading them to believe the suspect was the primary aggressor. She was charged with aggravated domestic assault and aggravated child endangerment.
Night Shift September 10
23-011555 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI Arrest – Following a traffic stop at this location a man was taken into custody and charged with Driving under the influence, improper turn, failure to maintain lane, and improper display of registration plates.
23-011562 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police stopped a silver Nissan Altima for window tint violation. The driver was arrested for driving on revoked and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-011547 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – The manager reported a suspicious male in the parking lot of the business. The manager stated the individual was asking people for money while carrying around a shovel and a garden hose. The individual was gone when the police arrived. Another citizen called to complain about the same person at another nearby business. Police again were unable to locate the individual. During a business check in the 6700 BLK of Ringgold Road, police located the individual lying next to a building and identified him. He was instructed to leave the premise based on the manager’s request.
23-011561 – 600 Camp Jordan Parkway – Traffic Stop – During a routine traffic stop, a woman was found to be driving on revoked license. She was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-011551 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Police responded in reference to someone not able to pay his cab fare. It was determined there was no intent to commit theft due to his card being turned off for fraud. He was taken into custody for warrants in Soddy Daisy for driving while license suspended.
23-011560 – 6900 BLK Glen Errol Way – Public Intoxication – The reporting party called in refence to her ex-boyfriend being at her residence intoxicated and her having an OOP against him. Upon a review of the documents, it was determined the court denied her OOP. He was arrested for public intoxication.
Night Shift September 11
23-011608—4200 BLK Ringgold Rd—Miscellaneous Complaint- Police spoke with the caller about her neighbor pointing a laser light at her and her son in efforts to harass/stalk/intimidate them. She stated she wanted to file a report to have her neighbor cease all further activity that would provoke tension between her family and himself. Nothing further currently.
23-011598—500 BLK Cedar Glen Cir—Fight- Police responded to this address regarding two juveniles involved in a fight at this location. Prior to arrival the reporting party advised one of the juveniles had struck the other with a blunt object. Police spoke with the parents of the juvenile who was struck. The parents advised they did not wish to pursue charges against the suspect at this time.
