Day Shift August 30
24-011124 – 700 BLK Summit Avenue – Arrest-DUI – A man was arrested for DUI after hitting a mailbox near this location.
24-011140 – 3500 BLK Cathy Lane – Harassment/Criminal Trespass – The RP called reporting their neighbor enters the yard checking on dogs. The neighbor reported animal abuse to East Ridge Animal Control.
Night Shift August 30
24-011142 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Theft – Police responded to a theft where two males stole four pairs of sunglasses valued at $868.09. Suspects were not identified at the time of the report.
24-011160 – Interstate I75 North Bound – DUI Arrest – A Black Ford F-150 Raptor was stopped for speeding on Ringgold Road. The driver was found impaired, with two beers in the console. He was arrested for DUI.
Day Shift August 30
24-011165 – 4222 Ringgold Road, Speedway – Arrest-Drugs – Two parties were found unconscious in a vehicle at this location. Both were subsequently arrested on Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule II and Possession of Methamphetamine.
24-011167 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road– Arrest-Drugs – Police were dispatched for an unconscious person. A man was arrested for Possession of Fentanyl and Drug Paraphernalia.
24-011170 – 5300 BLK Clemons Road– Burglary of Motor Vehicle – During the night, person(s) unknown entered the caller’s vehicle and stole two cell phones and the keys to the vehicle.
Night Shift August 31
24-011186 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Intoxicated Person – While patrolling the 6100 block of Ringgold Road, a concerned passerby flagged down police and stated that an intoxicated person was yelling at cars while stumbling into the roadway. Police located the suspect in the middle of the roadway. He was arrested for public intoxication and transported to The Hamilton County Jail without issues.
24-011194 – 4000 BLK Belvoir Pines Drive – Disorder – The caller stated that two unknown males came to his residence and assaulted his brother. The two parties declined to report or press charges then but said they would call the police tomorrow after they got more information on the suspects.
24-011196 – 900 BLK Stateline Road – Disorder – Police responded to multiple reports of a disturbance at the apartments. Officers arrested a man for Aggravated Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Intoxication after he broke into an occupied apartment and told the resident someone was trying to kill him, and that he needed their help. His statements to the resident were found to be the result of his intoxication.
24-011198 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/DUI Arrest – Police initiated a traffic stop after they observed a gray Mazda 3 with a defective taillight. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence, underage consumption of alcohol, and driving without a license. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without issue.
24-011202 – Windmere Dr/ Tunnel Blvd – Unconscious Party – Officers got out with an unconscious party parked in the middle of the road. After a probable cause search of her car, officers located prescription Gabapentin not belonging to her, along with 800mg ibuprofen in white baggies, and drug paraphernalia. Warrants through Sessions Court will be pursued.
Day Shift September 1
24-011208 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road– Suspicious Person – Police respond for a male in the parking lot asking people for money. He was checked for wants and warrants, warned about panhandling, and sent on his way.
24-011220 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road– Suspicious Person – Police responded to a call intoxicated person. A man was arrested for Public Intoxication.
24-011223 – 600 BLK S. St. Marks Avenue – Noise Complaint – A caller of Delaware Avenue called reporting loud music emitting for a residence on South St. Marks Avenue. The partygoers agreed to keep the music volume down. Police were called again for the loud music. The residents were advised of the noise ordinance to again and warned of being cited if officers received further complaints.
Night Shift September 1
24-011224 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Theft – Police were dispatched to a theft call. A male party of unknown age, approximately 5’11, 245 pounds, with grey hair can be seen stealing glasses with a total value of 569.17 USD.
No number assigned – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Field Interview – Police observed a Red Kia Sedona parked at a vacant building. The vehicle was running and had dark-tinted windows. Police contacted the occupant, who stated he was homeless and living out of his van due to recently losing his job. Additionally, he stated that he had been parking at this location because he felt safe.
Day Shift September 2
24-011248 – 3900 BLK Wiley Avenue – Backup Other Agency – Chattanooga Police Department requested an East Ridge officer check this address for a Honda CRV involved in a hit-and-run with injuries. Police located the vehicle along with the responsible driver. The man was placed under arrest by a Chattanooga officer for Leaving the Scene of an Accident and suspicion of DUI.
Night Shift September 2
24-011256 – 2600 BLK Cannon Avenue, Chattanooga – Aggravated Domestic Assault / Arrest – Chattanooga PD officers detained a man after he was located at a woman’s home on Cannon Avenue. East Ridge and Chattanooga Police Officers interviewed him and determined that he had assaulted her several times at his home on Missionaire Avenue. He was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
24-011257 – 900 BLK Sunny Dell Circle – Narcotics Violation / Arrest – Police were notified that a man was at this address and had an active arrest warrant through Sessions Court. Police located him on the property and took him into custody. During the arrest, he was found to be in possession of Fentanyl and a used syringe. He was charged accordingly and transported to the Hamilton County Detention Center without incident.
24-011259 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Hit and Run Crash / Arrest – Police responded to a Hit and Run Crash. Two witnesses followed the suspect vehicle to Belvoir Avenue and reported the suspect’s location to the 911 Dispatch Center. Officers responded to the location and arrested a man for Driving Under the Influence and Leaving the Scene of a Crash.
24-011271 – 5400 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police observed a black Hyundai Sonata driving with a non-operational taillight. Police stopped the vehicle and determined the driver was driving while under the influence. He was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
