Day Shift September 27
23-012291- 4200 BLK S. Terrace- Theft- The victim reported that his HP printer and a set of headphones had been stolen from his home. He stated his wife is ill and has home health providers in the residence. He stated they have had some issues with a couple of the providers. He said about three weeks ago his wife was in the hospital. He believes that is when the printer and headphones went missing. He did not have a name of any one provider, nor did he have a model or serial number for either piece of equipment.
23-012293- 3300 BLK Shadowlawn- Indecent Exposure- The caller reported her neighbor has been acting strangely around her lately. She stated he would talk to her from behind a black privacy screen, but she said he appeared to be naked when doing so. She stated the other day he knocked on her door and she opened it to see him standing naked asking to borrow toilet paper. She stated she did not want to pursue criminal charges but did want to have documentation if his “activities” escalate.
23-012288 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Trespass – A man was trespassed at the request of store management. He was given a courtesy ride to the Community Kitchen in Chattanooga at his request.
23-012296 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Warrant Service – After a Traffic Stop, a party was arrested on Hamilton County warrants.
23-012295 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Road – Auto Theft Recovery – Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2000 Chevrolet 1500 that returned as a stolen vehicle. The driver was found to have an active warrant for stealing the truck. He was taken into custody without incident.
23-012302 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Officers responded on a report of a male subject stealing a pint of milk and a cookie. Police located the suspect in the 4300 block of Bennett Rd. He was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and fentanyl. He also had verified warrants through Virginia and Georgia. He was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
23-012285 – 600 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Auto Burglary – The caller reported at approximately 0103 hours, a male wearing a hoodie entered his vehicle but did not believe he took anything. The unknown male also had a firearm in his hand. Neighbors on Brockhaven also had video footage that showed a dark-colored sedan with two males and a driver attempting to open vehicle doors.
23-012287- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police contacted a party whom police had prior knowledge of having valid warrants. A search revealed he was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to jail without incident.
23-012303 – 3400 BLK Gail Drive – Harassment – Police contacted three parties in reference to their children arguing at the bus stop. One party stated that the other had threatened her child claiming she was going to shoot them. The RP called dispatch and stated if police did not do anything about the situation, she was going to kill someone. Officers spoke with her advising her that threats were illegal, and she could possibly go to jail.
Night Shift September 27
23-012323 – 3400 BLK Lisa Drive– Assist Other Agency – Police were asked by CPD to contact the occupants of the address in reference to an investigation. Police were able to contact multiple parties. CPD arrived on scene for their investigation.
23-012316 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Evading Arrest – East Ridge Police responded to a Back Other Agency request in the 4300 block of Ringgold Road. Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) reported that a man had assaulted his girlfriend, then left in her gray Honda Accord. Police located the vehicle in the 5300 BLK of Ringgold Road. As officers approached the vehicle, the suspect backed up his vehicle and drove through the parking lot at a high rate of speed. He then drove through a yard before getting back on McBrien Road and departing the area. Warrants are pending for Felony Evading and Reckless Driving.
