Day Shift September 26
24-012386 – 1000 BLK Hibbler Circle – Vehicle Fire – Police assisted fire personnel with a vehicle fire at this address. The vehicle was parked near the street. There were no injuries, and no other property was damaged.
24-012362 – 1500 BLK Tombras Avenue – Suspicious Vehicle – Police found a woman sleeping behind the wheel of a Toyota Camry at Pioneer Park. She advised she was homeless and looking for a place to rest. Police referred her to the Welcome Center.
24-012374 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Shoplifting – Loss Prevention stated upon review of surveillance footage he observed a shoplifter in the store steal a flashlight, knife and a digital scale. He also stated this same individual filled out a Bass Pro Club card with his name. The employee stated he was able to capture the license plate of the vehicle the shoplifter entered. The registration retuned to the same name. Upon review of the subject’s DL, which is 6 years old, the likeness is not spot on, but a possible match.
24-0123748 – 900 BLK Donaldson Road- Domestic Assault – Warrants are being sought to arrest a man for Domestic Assault after he kicked the door in on this residence.
24-012369 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice – A man and wife had their wireless numbers hacked after responding to a Facebook post. They have been locked out their account and suspect has attempted to fraudulently send money from their Zelle and Venmo accounts. Their financial institution has been notified and as of this posting no money has been lost.
24-012205 – 1200 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Theft Supplement – Police spoke with the reporting party via telephone regarding the theft of her purse and bank cards from church on Sunday. She said two cards were fraudulently used 12 times at various businesses along Rossville Boulevard in Chattanooga. Police advised her to contact Chattanooga PD to file a report for the fraudulent use of the cards.
Night Shift September 26
24-012400 – 100 Fawn Drive – Assist Other Agency – Police responded to this address to locate the suspect in an armed robbery at the Costco in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. Officers from the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department met ERPD Officers and police located the man at the residence. ERPD Officers then obtained a search warrant for the Honda coupe. A mask and gloves along with several other items were seized as evidence. The suspect was arrested on an extraditable warrant and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-012393 – 7609 Standifer Gap Rd – Warrant service – Police served a man with a capias arrest warrant at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charge was possession of a controlled substance.
24-012399 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police responded to a disorder in the parking lot of the restaurant. Officers found an infamous local man in a verbal disorder with an employee. The suspect’s actions were very erratic, and he would not follow police commands. He then began screaming at several employees and customers who gathered to watch the incident. Police arrested him for disorderly conduct and transported him for a medical clearance. He was then transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
24-012391- 500 BLK Brookfield Avenue – Assist Other Agency / Arrest – East Ridge Police located two subjects who fled a traffic crash in Chattanooga. The male subject gave a name, and the female identified herself as well. Everyone showed active warrants through other agencies. CPD responded to the location and took custody of the female. An ERPD officer transported the male subject to the jail for “his” warrant. At the jail, police determined real name, and he had two active warrants out of Catoosa County, not the warrant for the alias he chose. He was additionally charged with False Reporting and Criminal Impersonation, turning two warrants into four charges.
24-012401- 3100 BLK Bimini Place- Burglary in Progress – Police responded to a potential Burglary in progress. The reporting party stated someone was trying to break in through her sliding door. Police eventually determined the wind was making noise, and no one had attempted to enter the residence.
24-012389- 6200 BLK Ringgold Road- Assault in Progress – A concerned citizen reported seeing a male beating a female in a white Ford Escape with a partial Georgia tag of SBW. The witness followed the vehicle, and it eventually traveled westbound on I-24. Police checked the area but did not locate the vehicle or the occupants.
24-012397 – 100 BLK Fawn Drive – Animal Cruelty – A man called for a disorder prevention when he returned to his residence following the dismissal of a TPO. While on scene, he found that his wife had severely neglected their pet rats by failing to feed them. The situation resulted in the animals killing and cannibalizing their kennel mates. Animal Services was contacted and responded to the location. Two arrest warrants for Animal Cruelty are being sought.
