The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports provided by the administration.
August 30 Day Shift
22-012109- 950 Spring Creek Road- Vehicle Burglary/Theft-
The caller reported his vehicle was entered and property was taken. On scene he advised he parked his truck on the evening of August 29, around 1830 hours after returning home from work. He advised he came out to leave for work at 0600 hours on this date, when he noticed the contents of his lower glove box was lying in the passenger seat. He looked in the glove box that was not locked and noticed that his Smith and Wesson, M&P Shield, .380 caliber, semi-automatic pistol, valued at $300 was missing. He also observed that his Apple Air Pods valued at $150 were missing as well. The victim did not have the serial number to the firearm available at the time of this report. He will obtain the serial number and add to the report later this date. The firearm will be entered into the NCIC database once the serial number is reported. A firearm meeting the description of this firearm reported was recovered during an arrest of Cambren Jolly that occurred around 0100 hours on this date. The Smith and Wesson, M&P Shield, .380 (SN: RDL0327) recovered from that arrest is currently in East Ridge Police Department property.
No number assigned- 512 Layfield Road- Animal Call-
The caller advised a black bear was seen walking through her yard. Officers located the bear at 528 Layfield. TWRA was notified but would not respond.
22-012115- 300 blk of Camp Jordan Parkway- Lost Hiker/AOA-
Police responded with ERFD and other rescue agencies on a lost hiker in the Camp Jordan woods. Police assisted with locating the hiker and helped escort him out of the woods.
22-012119- 6500 block Ringgold Road- Sexual Assault-
Police were dispatched about a reported rape which occurred sometime between late night 8/27/22 and early morning 8/28/22 at a local motel. Prior to receiving the call from the School Resource Officer, the juvenile female victim reported to the school guidance counselor stating she had been raped by two unknown males at the motel. According to the SRO, the female reported to him she was asked to sneak out of her home on the night of 8/27 around midnight by another juvenile female. After sneaking out around midnight the victim reported they smoked marijuana and the victim was given a pill by her friend with an M on it. The victim stated she felt dizzy after taking the pill. While walking, a black newer-model Kia Forte with two males pulled up next to them and told them to get in. The victim reported she did not want to get into the car, but the other juvenile female told her it was safe. The victim reported she was then driven to the motel. In an unknown room she was ordered to take her clothes off and was then raped. Police went to the Family Justice Center. Additional suspect information is unknown.
22-012125- 950 Spring Creek Road- Vehicle Burglary/Theft-
The caller advised his vehicle was entered sometime during the night hours. He advised he was missing a backpack, laptop, and other items. During the investigation officers were able to link Cambren Jolly to the burglary. The stolen backpack and laptop were located in the property room.

Stephen Howard was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.
22-012137- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service-
Xavier Bonner was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.

Night Shift
5312 Dupont Street / Theft-Auto (22-012139):
The complainant reported her 2004 Chevrolet Impala bearing TN registration 723DD33 was stolen by an individual from Chickamauga, GA. The vehicle was entered into NCIC.
1517 Tombras Avenue /Arrest-Traffic (22-012140):
Charles Witt was arrested for Driving While Revoked for DUI after being seen driving away from East Ridge City Court where he appeared before Judge Wilson for the same offense.
5082 S Terrace / Arrest (22-012144):
Ian Tice was taken into custody on outstanding Hamilton County warrants and theft of property after being found in possession of a stolen license plate during a traffic stop.
3300 Ringgold Rd/ unlawful possession of a firearm(22-012152):
Police contacted a juvenile subject on foot. Upon doing so it was discovered he was in possession of handgun with no serial number or “ghost gun.” The same subject also had active attachments for armed robbery and unlawful possession.
950 Spring Creek Road / Supplement (22-012107):
The complainant called police to pursue charges for theft of property after Cambren Jolly was observed trying to take his motorcycle. The complainant stated upon further inspection of his bike he observed damage on the left side and undercarriage of his motorcycle. A warrant for theft or property was taken out for Jolly.
6519 Ringgold Road / Animal Call (No number assigned):
Officers were called to the Super 8 after citizens observed a black bear roaming in the grass area near the interstate. As instructed by TWRA, ERPD Officers were able to successfully guide the bear into Georgia without incident.
