Day Shift October 11
23-012909 – 3400 BLK Gail Dr – Deceptive Practice – The caller advised she was contacted by a party, identifying herself as Sequoyah Daniels, about a possible grant from the Department of Human Services. She stated Daniels requested a copy of her identification, which she provided but then started questioning Daniels about the credibility of the offer. The complainant stated that after she questioned the subject, the links she was provided with stopped working. The caller felt this was a scam and wanted a police report.
23-012910-3600 Ringgold Road- Counterfeit money – Loss Prevention reports a counterfeit “Prop Money” was taken this morning at 0632 hours.
23-012912- I24 West- Disorder with a weapon – An escort for an oversized load stated on I24 West, just before the ridge cut, a male in a Chevrolet Equinox was darting in and out of traffic. The driver pulled abreast of her vehicle, on the right side, and pointed a gun at her. She stated she lost sight of the vehicle as it proceeded down the ridge but was able to provide a registration plate which does return to a Chevrolet Equinox in Catoosa County.
23-012912 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Criminal Trespass – Police were dispatched to regarding multiple juveniles being disorderly. Upon arrival, all the juveniles had left the store and were walking through Pioneer Park. Three of the juveniles were cussing and yelling while small children were present. Police contacted the juveniles, one of which had already been criminally trespassed from the store. Attachments will be sought.
23-012915-2500 Market Steet- Warrant Service – After a CPD traffic stop, a party was arrested on an East Ridge Warrant.
23-012903- 1700 BLK Keeble St.- Property Damage- A party reported the front door of the business had been busted out. It did not appear that entry had been made into the store.
Night Shift October 11
23-012923 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Assist Other Agency – A citizen reported seeing a man walking eastbound on Ringgold Road. He was found to have several felony warrants through both Hamilton County and Catoosa County. Police spotted him near the bridge on Ringgold Road, but he took off on foot when patrol vehicles moved toward him. Catoosa County SO K9 responded to the area and police worked to establish a perimeter. The suspect was eventually located and arrested near the intersection of Satya Way and Frawley Road. A warrant will be sought for Evading Arrest.
23-012926 – 1600 BLK Keeble St. – Delayed Assault – ERPD Officers and Catoosa County Deputies responded to Keeble Street and Palm Beach Avenue for a Delayed Assault. On scene, police and deputies found that juveniles had engaged in mutual combat in Georgia. In addition, an adult female and a female teenager were involved in a related disorder on Keeble Street. No charges were filed for the incident.
23-012929 – 1000 BLK Amelia Court – Intoxicated Person – A man was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Resisting Arrest after police responded to the report of an intoxicated person near a construction site. Police located him sitting in his truck with a bottle of liquor in his hand. He initially refused to comply with police instructions and was removed from his vehicle. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
23-012932 – 3400 BLK Lisa Drive – Disorder – The caller stated he had a verbal disorder with his roommate at their residence. One party agreed to leave the residence and took several belongings with him. Throughout the conversation with police, the other was irate and had frequent outbursts of anger. No charges were filed for the incident.
23-012944 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Road – Narcotics Violation – Police arrested a man for Possession with Intent to Resale during a traffic stop. Police approached his white Ford Fusion and immediately detected the odor of marijuana. Inside the vehicle, police located over 50 grams of suspected marijuana, other THC products, and paraphernalia. Police also found several bullet holes in the back of the vehicle with a small amount of dried blood in the back seat. The time and location the vehicle was shot was unknown. He was read his Miranda Rights and questioned on the matter, but he provided conflicting details. The vehicle was placed in the ERPD impound lot for further investigation.
