Day Shift October 24
24-013606 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle – Lost Property – Police contacted the reporting party via telephonic service in reference to a lost passport. While speaking with the complainant, it was determined the loss occurred at a location in Chattanooga.
24-013596 – 3600 BLK Wimberly Lane – Assault in Progress – Police responded to this address on report of a party’s juvenile son assaulting her in the front yard and determined no assault occurred. The juvenile was transported to Juvenile Detention Unit on three outstanding Attachments.
Night Shift October 24
24-013617 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Suspicious Activity / Assist Other Agency – Police located a male who was suspected of smoking marijuana inside the hospital. The individual was identified and found to have multiple warrants out of sessions court (Theft of Property (x2) and Possession of Marijuana x2). He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-013618 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder / Arrest – Police responded to the gas station for a disorder involving a person who had been trespassed from the business. Police located the man and placed him in custody for criminal trespassing. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
24-013619 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police initiated a traffic stop with a blue Mazda CX9 for a registration violation. Police observed a strong odor of marijuana in the vehicle while speaking with the driver. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and found 15.3g of Marijuana and 0.5g of Cocaine. The party was arrested for Possession of Marijuana (Felony), Possession of Cocaine, and License Required.
24-013625 – 6800 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop with a maroon Dodge truck after it was found to be speeding and failing to maintain lane. The driver was identified and determined to be intoxicated during a roadside investigation. He was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-013621 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Brush Fire – Police responded to a small brush fire next to the 41 Highway bridge. The East Ridge Fire Department responded to the location and quickly put out the fire. The source of the blaze was unknown, but Fire and Police personnel located a recently abandoned homeless camp.
24-013626 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Brush Fire – Police responded to a small brush fire near the bridge on Spring Creek Road. The Chattanooga Fire Department responded to the location and put out the fire. The source of the fire was unknown, but a homeless camp was located near the burn site. No suspects were identified for the incident.
