Day Shift October 22
24-011500 – S Germantown Road & Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle wanted in relation to a robbery from a prior incident. CID was notified and responded to the scene.
24-013512 – 1100 BLK S Seminole Drive – Unknown 911 – Officers checked the area regarding an open line for a 911 hang up. No signs of distress were in the area.
24-013514 – 1300 BLK St. Thomas Street – Well Being Check – An Aim Center worker called East Ridge Police Department to check on a party that resides at this address. Contact was made with the subject, who said he was fine.
24-013525 – 1600 BLK Waterhouse Street – Suspicious Activity – Police checked the area for a male party walking carrying what appeared to be a pumpkin. He was getting a jump on trick or treating.
24-013530 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on an Alias Capias warrant for Disorderly Conduct. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail by another agency.
Night Shift October 22
24-013535 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – SIA, Warrant Service – Police were flagged down by the manager concerning a comment made by a customer that he was “hiding from cops.” Police interviewed the suspect and identified the man who was taken into custody on Hamilton County Sessions warrants for Failure to Appear for a probation violation.
24-013537 – 500 BLK Donaldson Rd. – Psychiatric Emergency – A caller reported he believed his mother was having some sort of breakdown. Upon police arrival they spoke with the mother who stated she had water coming from her face. The mother was transported by EMS for evaluation.
24-013544 – 1200 BLK Laredo Ave. – Drug Overdose – Police were originally dispatched to an unknown 911 but later found that someone had overdosed prior to their arrival. The patient was alert and walking and was able to talk to the police. The patient agreed to be looked at by EMS but refused transport. Police located evidence of narcotic use in the subject’s bedroom. The evidence was seized and disposed of.
24-013550 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Noise Complaint – Police were dispatched to a noise complaint. A group of males were playing music from their truck in the parking lot at a high volume. They cooperated with the police and turned down the music to allow other guests to sleep. The group was later asked to leave by hotel management after they continued making noise and left broken bottles outside their room.
24-013556 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – SIA – While patrolling the parking lot, management approached the police and advised they had been receiving multiple calls from guests about a group of people causing a disturbance. Outside of the rooms there were multiple broken beer bottles, and the odor of alcohol could be smelled coming from both rooms involved. The management did not want to criminally trespass anyone but just wanted parties involved to leave. Five males were asked to vacate the premises and there were no further issues.
