Day Shift October 11
24-013055 – 3200 BLK Gleason Drive – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to the listed address on a report of two males walking through the apartment complex looking into vehicles, Police checked the area, nothing was located.
24-13061 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police served outstanding warrants for domestic assault and vandalism. Police also served outstanding warrants on another subject for two counts of Violation of a Protection Order. Both parties were transported to Hamilton County Jail.
24-013071 – 6100 BLK Ringgold Road– Watch List – Police spoke with RP on the phone who advised he is the real estate agent for selling this building. He advised he is having issues with homeless people leaving trash all over the property and is having to pay a company to come and clean it up. He requested that the property be checked and any homeless found on the property be trespassed.
Night Shift October 11
24-013103 – 3400 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI/Arrest – A man was arrested for DUI after he was observed driving erratically in the 3400 block of Ringgold Road. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-013104-4300 BLK Ringgold Road-Traffic Stop/DUI Arrest – A man was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, driving without a driver’s license, and failure to maintain lane following a traffic stop.
Day Shift October 12
24-013116 – 700 BLK Pirtle Street – Disorder Prevention – A man requested Police escort to his ex-girlfriend’s residence so he could gather his belongings. Officers stood by while he gathered his personal belongings without issue.
Night Shift October 12
24-013120 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – While conducting traffic enforcement, police observed a silver Toyota Camry traveling west with a passenger headlight not illuminated properly. Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on West Side Drive, but the driver did not stop the vehicle until at the intersection of East 29th Street and Dodd’s Avenue. The driver provided information that was not confirmed. He left out parts of his name in an attempt not to be properly identified, as he was a habitual offender. The man was charged with Habitual Traffic Offender, Criminal Impersonation, and Driving while License Suspended.
24-013123 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder – A caller reported several people in the parking lot doing burnouts and doughnuts. Upon police arrival they found several parties in lifted trucks attempting to leave the parking lot. Officers informed all of them this kind of behavior was not allowed and will not be tolerated. All parties on scene agreed to leave the area for the evening.
24-013126 – 1000 BLK Hibbler Cir – Harassment – The RP wanted to report that someone on Facebook was harassing him after he made a comment on a post. The party was informed that he needed to tell her to stop messaging him and to block her. Police observed that the female had called him numerous times; however, he kept answering and responding. The RP stated that the female was going to pull up to his house. Later a Catoosa County deputy called and stated that the suspect’s mom called and said the reporting party in the original call said he was going to pull up to her house with a gun. The parties were both intoxicated and did not have proof of any of the threats. The deputy said he would inform his mom to stop messaging the RP and to block him.
Day Shift October 13
24-013134 – 1600 BLK S. Smith Street – Theft – The victim reported that a male jumped his fence and stole some of his lawn equipment. Officers located the suspect. He did not have any lawn equipment when he was located.
24-013148 – 3600 BLK Shirl Jo Lane – Crash No Injuries/Warrant Arrest – While working on a crash with no injuries, a party was found to have a verified warrant for vandalism from sessions court. She was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-013150 – 1500 BLK Prigmore Road – Suspicious Person – Citizen reported a male walking down the roadway waving around a knife. Police located the man walking south and suffering from a mental episode. Officers disarmed him and arrested him for Public Intoxication.
Night Shift October 13
24-013155 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder / Arrest – A man was arrested for Public Intoxication, Vandalism, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest after he caused a disturbance at a restaurant when he threw the business’s cordless phone at the wall and shouted at restaurant staff. He also attempted to flee while under investigatory detention at another establishment. He was trespassed from the business; ne – Suspicious Person – Police responded to the area when the caller advised several homeless people were seen behind the business. Police checked the area.
24-013162 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Public Intoxication / Arrest – A man was arrested for Public Intoxication after he was seen stumbling along the sidewalk. Officers attempted to contact a responsible party to provide him with a ride. Police discovered empty bottles of liquor in his nearby vehicle. The truck was left secured in the parking lot with a flat front passenger tire.
Day Shift October 14
24-013174 – 3400 BLK Lisa Drive– Check Well Being – While conducting routine patrol, an officer was flagged down by two young girls who reported their mother left them. Mom arrived on scene and stated she left the kids unattended while she dropped their dad off at work. She was advised the kids were too young to be left alone and a DCS report was completed.
24-013171 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Package – Store employees reported a suspicious package at the side of the building. Upon closer inspection, Police determined the package was a homeless person asleep. The party was awakened and told to leave the premises.
24-013183 – 6200 BLK Ringgold Road – Road Rage – A motorist stated he inadvertently pulled in front of another vehicle. The motorist stated the driver “laid on the horn” and began attempting to cut his vehicle off. The reporting party stated he stopped and contacted Police for assistance.
24-013186 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle – A concerned caller requested police check on a blue Chevy Silverado that was parked across several parking stalls. It was found the occupants were waiting on assistance from another party with a flat tire.
