Day Shift November 21
23-014742- 5300 BLK Connell Street- Shooting- Police were dispatched on an unresponsive person at this location. On scene a juvenile male was found suffering from a GSW to the leg. EMS transported the male to the hospital. This incident is still under investigation. If you have any information, please contact the East Ridge Police Department.
Night Shift November 21
23-014743 – 3100 BLK Bimini Place – Aggravated Burglary – Police responded to a burglary in progress involving an unknown male who fled the scene before police arrived. The suspect pretended to be an A/C repairman, assaulted residents and two children, and stole $6,000 and six social security cards belonging to the children. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a silver Toyota Camry. EMS transported mother and child for treatment of injuries sustained. The investigation is ongoing.
23-014747 – 4815 Delaware Drive – Theft – Police responded after the homeowner reported a check she attempted to send to the bank had been altered. The reporting party advised the check was originally written for approximately $20 to the National Wildlife Federation. The check appeared to be altered by an unknown individual after arriving at the post office. The check was changed to $6,000 and written to an unknown female subject. A report is on file pending further investigation by CID.
23-014752 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Supplement to Domestic Assault – The victim in a recent domestic assault by the defendant requested to speak to police regarding harassing voicemails from the defendant’s father. Police reviewed three voicemails left by the defendant’s father.
23-014753 – 1300 BLK San His Dr – Pursuit of Vehicle – ERPD Officers assisted Chattanooga Police in a motor vehicle pursuit of an aggravated assault suspect after the suspect dragged a Chattanooga Police Officer with his vehicle while being taken into custody. ERPD officers successfully deployed spike stripes against the vehicle ultimately stopping in the 1300 block of San Hsi Drive. While attempting to take the suspect into custody he was found to be suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. EMS was called to the scene and ERPD CID was notified of the incident.
23-014754 – 4200 BLK Ealy Road – MVC-Arrest – Police responded to this location regarding a vehicle that had crashed into a tree. The driver appeared to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody and charged with Driving Under the influence, Reckless Driving, Child Endangerment, and Implied Consent. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
23-014756 – 5000 BLK Orchard Drive, Apison – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on a Forfeiture Capias warrant for Possession of Schedule II/Meth. Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office transported to Hamilton County Jail.
23-014762 – Camp Jordan Parkway @ Ringgold Road – Traffic – Police pulled a party over for driving through a red light at N Mack Smith Rd onto Ringgold Rd eastbound. He was found to have active warrants out of Hamilton County Sessions Court and transported to jail without any issue.
