Day Shift November 17
23-014537 – North Camp Jordan – Public Service – Police met with representatives from Chattanooga Police, Codes Enforcement and Chattanooga Police north of the park in Chattanooga. The purpose of the effort was to advise the parties living in the homeless camp to vacate the area. The property, although in Chattanooga, is owned by East Ridge and will be developed in the near future.
23-014557 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – A detective observed a suspect vehicle in several fuel thefts traveling east on Ringgold Road. With the assistance of uniformed patrol, the vehicle was stopped, and a man was taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
Night Shift November 17
23-014584 –900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Traffic Stop / DUI Arrest – Following a traffic stop at this location, a party was taken into custody for multiple traffic violations including driving under the influence. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-014568 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Narcotics Violation / Arrest – Police responded to this address due to a report of an intoxicated male. Police contacted the party and observed him to be in possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-014586 – 7900 BLK Standifer Gap Road – Warrant service – Police served three warrants on a woman while she was in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. The warrants were for possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal impersonation.
23-014567 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder / Warrant Service – Following a verbal disorder, a woman was arrested for two active arrest warrants through the City of East Ridge. Both arrest warrants were for shoplifting at the business. She was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-014577 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle – Police responded to the report of a silver SUV creating a disorder in the parking lot. On scene, police located a silver SUV containing five juvenile females. After speaking with the complainant, police determined the juveniles were yelling at the restaurant and patrons while continuously driving in circles around the business. Police detained the occupants of the vehicle until their parents and guardians responded to the location.
23-014578 – 700 BLK Frawley Road– Narcotics Arrest – Police were conducting a knock and talk at the residence following an information report. Police observed paraphernalia in plain view and detained all parties in the residence. Three parties were all charged after a search warrant was conducted on the property. One was refused by the jail after being seen to have something inside her body cavity. She was transported to the Hospital and It was removed by hospital staff. She was transported back to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-014579 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice – Officers responded to this location in reference to a deceptive practice. Officers spoke with the manager who advised a male claiming to be a federal agent called. He advised the manager he needed her to send him photos of all of the bills in the register and vault in order to check the serial numbers for counterfeits. After the manager complied, the “agent” advised the manager she needed to place the bills he marked as good onto a gift card and send him a picture of the serial number of the gift card. The manager sent the man approximately $415. Officers collected the gift card, receipt, and miscellaneous information from the manager and placed it into property and evidence.
Day Shift November 18
23-014614 – 900 BLK South Seminole – Domestic Assault – Police responded to a report of domestic violence. It was determined a man had made threats to kill the mother of his child as they tussled over a laptop computer. He was taken into custody for assault.
Night Shift November 18
23-014621 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder / Stabbing – Police responded to a fight in a parking lot during the same timeframe as the annual East Ridge Christmas Parade. Police found that the same man from the call in the 100 BLK of Greenslake met his ex-wife and her boyfriend at the location to discuss their child custody issues. According to witnesses, the male began yelling at his ex-wife and assaulted her boyfriend. The two men then fought each other until the woman stabbed her ex-husband in the back with a knife to end the fight. He was transported by EMS with a non-life-threatening injury. Police will seek arrest warrants for all parties involved in the fight.
23-014634 – 3400 BLK Lisa Drive – Auto Theft – Police spoke with a party who stated that his green 2003 Ford Explorer was stolen around 2330 hours on 11/18/23. No suspect info currently.
23-014619 – 5200 BLK Springs Street – Public Intoxication – Police responded to a report of an intoxicated person. On scene the party was found unsteady on her feet yelling in the middle of a neighbor’s yard. She was arrested for public intoxication.
23-014630 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police responded to a disorder. A man met his ex-girlfriend there and was confronted by a third party in the parking lot. The two chased one another in their vehicles where police stopped them in the adjacent parking lot. A party was issued a citation for reckless driving and his firearm was taken for safekeeping.
23-014633 – 1700 BLK Keeble Street – Vandalism – Police were called in refence to vandalism. Three juveniles were seen hitting the glass causing damage to the doors and windows of the store before running away. Police stopped all three and their parents were called to the scene. Petitions are being sought for vandalism.
23-014622 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Crash/DUI Arrest – Police responded to this location regarding multiple calls for a black minivan that had struck multiple vehicles and left the scene. Police responded to the area and located the minivan further down the road and unoccupied. Police were then flagged down by an independent witness who told police she observed a male abandon the minivan after colliding with multiple vehicles on Ringgold Road. He was located a short time later and was found to be the driver of the minivan. The man was transported to Silverdale where he was booked for numerous traffic violations out of East Ridge, TN including driving under the influence.
23-014634 – 8200 BLK Pine Ridge Road – Supplemental – The vehicle which was originally reported stolen under this case number was located by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office shortly after the initial report. The vehicle was found unoccupied in a ditch and was towed from the scene. The owner of the vehicle was notified, and the vehicle was taken out of NCIC as a stolen vehicle.
23-014617 – 4100 BLK Monroe St – Disorder- The manager reported a verbal disorder between a homeless Hispanic male and several staff members. The homeless male left the area before police arrived and his identity was unknown. The manager will Criminally Trespass the individual if he is identified.
23-014620 – 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A man was arrested at the Hamilton County Jail on a Forfeiture Capias out of the East Ridge. The original charge was Public Intoxication.
Day Shift November 19
23-014644 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Officer conducted a traffic stop on a white Nissan with no visible registration plate. A woman was issued citations for driving while suspended, no insurance, and the registration violation. She was found to have a probationary capias warrant through Session Court for drugs for resale. Her passenger was checked for warrants, and none were located. She was transported to jail on her warrant.
23-014654 – 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Arrest – An East Ridge arrest warrant was served on a woman at the Hamilton County Jail.
23-014639 – 700 BLK Dunlap Avenue – Traffic Stop/Warrant Service – Police conducted a traffic stop on a black GMC Terrain for improper display after it was observed leaving the newly renovated apartments on Gleason Drive. The driver was observed to have his pants hanging off one leg. A female passenger was identified as the owner of the vehicle. The parties claimed they were just driving around, however, neither one resided at the mostly unoccupied apartments. After verifying the parties’ information, one was found to have warrants through HCSO and a warrant though East Ridge, Petition to Revoke for Possession of Controlled Substance. After releasing the vehicle and owner, she asked police if she could obtain $20 from the man for a debt. The man was then transported to the jail without incident.
23-014655 – 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Arrest – A man was served an East Ridge warrant and transported to jail.
Night Shift November 19
23-014666 – 1100 BLK South Seminole Drive – Traffic Stop/Arrest – A woman was taken into custody following a traffic stop at this location for numerous traffic violations including driving under the influence. She was transported to Silverdale where she was booked accordingly.
23-014656 – 1600 BLK Glowmont Drive – Overdose – Police responded to an overdose call about a female overdosing. After officers administered Narcan she began to regain consciousness. She was transported by EMS.
Day Shift November 20
23-014680- 1000 BLK South Seminole Drive- Vehicle Burglary- The business reported tools were stolen from a company truck on Friday, 11/17/2023 around 1630 hours. The unknown suspect attempted to enter the truck without permission and damaged the driver’s side door handle. When the suspect could not enter the cab, he entered the UWS (United Welding Services) toolboxes mounted in the bed of the truck. The suspect took several tools to include a new drill and left the property in a red Ford pickup truck.
23-014681- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Vandalism- Police received a call on a vandalism on the rear of Camp Jordan Park. An outbuilding had the doorknob knocked off with a blunt object. The incident occurred between 11/13/2023 and 11/20/2023. No suspect information is known.
23-014683- 700 BLK Belvoir Avenue- Disorder- Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Belvoir Avenue regarding a rolling disorder. En route to the call, dispatch advised that passengers in a white Hyundai were throwing items at the complainant. Prior to officers arriving on scene, dispatch advised the suspect vehicle turned westbound on Ringgold Road from Belvoir Avenue. The complainant was waiting to speak with police in a parking lot. Police attempted to locate the suspect vehicle to no avail. The victim stated while driving south on Belvoir the front seat passenger began throwing water bottles and coins at her vehicle. Upon stopping at the red light at the intersection of Belvoir Avenue and Ringgold Road the suspect vehicle pulled up alongside her vehicle and the driver, a female, rolled the window down to allow the passenger to continue to throw items. Once the light turned green both vehicles went in separate directions. Police did not observe any marks or damage on the vehicle.
23-014688- 1100 BLK Sewanee Drive- Theft- Police met with the victim who reported the theft of her blued Ruger LC9 9MM from her vehicle. She stated she last saw the handgun about one month ago and discovered it was stolen on Friday, November 17, 2023. Unfortunately, she has no information regarding the date, time, or location of the theft, and there is no available video evidence. The victim provided the serial number of the firearm, which was subsequently entered in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) for tracking purposes.
Night Shift November 20
23-014708 – 200 BLK Frawley Road – Drug Overdose – Police responded to this location for a drug overdose complaint. The party was responsive after one Narcan was given to him by his mother prior to police arrival. He stated he had used fentanyl and was transported by EMS for further evaluation.
23-014709 – 3900 BLK Weldon Drive – Disorder with a Weapon – A woman called and stated that her husband had thrown a beer bottle at her head causing lacerations. Officers spoke to both parties. Police observed injuries consistent with the victim’s statements. The suspect was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and is being charged with aggravated domestic assault and resisting arrest.
23-014713 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop on a white Chevy Astrovan. The driver was taken into custody and is being charged with Driving on Revoked, Possession of Schedule II, and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
23-014716 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Domestic Assault – Police responded to this location for an assault complaint. The victim was found with hot coffee poured all over her outfit by her boyfriend. The man was arrested for domestic assault and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-014717 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Drug Overdose – A party was discovered lying on the floor in the shower with purple skin and sporadic shallow breathing. Next to him in the shower was a cigarette lighter, burned foil, and a rolled $5 dollar bill. Nurses administered Narcan and took him to the ICU. He would later tell nurses he uses meth and fentanyl regularly, but that he couldn’t be sure what he smoked to cause his overdose.
