Day Shift November 14
23-014423 – 3700 BLK Fountain– Disorder Prevention/Civil Matter – Two parties arrived at this location to recover their abandoned/lost dog from August 2023. They stated they contacted McKamey after receiving information their dog was at this location. Police and ERAS spoke with the current owner of the dog, who stated she had had it since August after finding it in poor health at the complex. After speaking with the current owner, police and ERAS determined the current owner had performed her due diligence in attempting to notify McKamey and find the owners due to their delay in reporting the dog missing a month later. The dog was left in the current owner’s custody.
23-014430 – 3900 BLK Weldon Dr – Miscellaneous – The caller reported that his wife had damaged his cell phone and struck him in the mouth during a domestic disorder at approximately 0100hrs on this date. When asked why he did not report these incidents while police were previously investigating at his residence, he insinuated he was intimidated by people with guns in his residence. Police advised a report would be made to document his claims; however, prosecution was unlikely due to lack of evidence.
Night Shift November 14
23-014444 – 2100 BLK Dugan St –Missing Child/Supplement– Police were called to this address concerning a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was eventually located in Chattanooga at her grandmother’s house near Brainerd Road. Police spoke with the grandmother and advised her on the juvenile’s need to return home. A short time later, the reporting party advised the juvenile had returned home safely.
23-014448 – 5700 BLK State Line Rd – Drug Overdose – Police responded to this address for a drug overdose with CPR In progress. Prior to the arrival of the Police, the patient’s mother administered Narcan and restored the patient’s breathing. The patient was transported for further treatment and evaluation.
23-014452 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Intoxicated Person – Police were called for a disturbance with an intoxicated person. Police arrived on scene and the intoxicated customer was asked to leave. The customer was able to call for a ride home and there was no further incident.
23-014456 – 1600 BLK S Seminole Drive – Suspicious Activity – The caller reported seeing a man with a blue cap walking through her yard. She further reported that she heard someone near her car in the driveway. Police checked around the house but did not locate anyone. Police also found there were twelve similar complaints reported by the same caller in the previous four weeks. An APS referral was generated.
23-014457 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Activity/ Seized Property – Police observed a woman passed out in a vehicle in the parking lot. Police also observed her drop paraphernalia in the floor as police asked her to step out of the vehicle. The vehicle was searched, and additional drug paraphernalia was located. Due to her cooperation, she was not charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
