Day Shift November 5
24-103230 – 18340 Interstate 24 EB – Shooting/ Assist another Agency – Police responded to an individual who was shot on the interstate over a road rage incident. ERPD were first on scene and started CPR/rendered first aid until Chattanooga Police, Fire and EMS arrived on scene.
24-014062 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder/Arrest – Police were dispatched to the motel on a disorder. Officers arrived to find an intoxicated man outside. When asked to produce his ID, he instead handed police a bag of methamphetamine. He was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Public Intoxication.
24-014064 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Property – According to the reporting party, she had left or lost a handgun, described as a Bersa .380 tan in color at the hotel on 10/25/2024.
24-014065 – 3500 BLK Missionaire Avenue – Disorder – Police responded to this address contacted the reporting party who reported that his nephew had been repeatedly coming to his property, sleeping in his vehicles, and causing disturbances with his wife. He stated that he has attempted to assist, but these efforts have been unsuccessful, as the subject continued to return and cause issues. He expressed his desire to have him trespassed from the property. Police advised him that a formal trespass notice could be issued once the man is located.
Night Shift November 5
24-014088 – 3200 BLK Gleason Drive – Felony Stop / Arrest – After information gathered during the investigation of complaint number 24-014079 a felony stop at this location resulted in the arrest of a man for Possession with Intent to Resale.
24-014087 – 1900 BLK Close Road – Noise Complaint – Police were dispatched to a dog barking excessively. Police located two dogs barking on Bowen Road and attempted to notify the residents, but they were not home.
24-014097 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious vehicle – While conducting routine patrol at the hotels, officers discovered a U-Haul parked in the back lot. The back of the U-Haul was halfway open, and officers discovered three people sleeping inside. One man was found to have multiple warrants in state pick up only is several states. He was also found flagged as a violent sex offender. A field interview will be completed.
24-014099 – 6200 BLK Ringgold Rd – Alarm/ Vandalism – An unknown suspect vandalized the business’s drive through window. The building was cleared, and nothing appeared to be taken. The cash drawers and safe did not have any evidence of damage. The responsible party for the establishment was not able to be reached as dispatch was only getting voice mail.
