October 31 – Night Shift
3607 Altamira Dr (Aggressive Animal):
Several callers reported an aggressive Dachshund was running through the neighborhood barking at adults and children. Police located the dog. With the assistance of a 10-year-old juvenile, the dog was contained and returned to the owner.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Service):
Courtnee Mikes was arrested at the Hamilton County Jail on an Alias Capias Arrest Warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for alias capias was Driving on a Revoked License.
800 Belvoir Ave (Traffic stop):
Aubrey Fourte Jr. was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving while suspended following a traffic stop at this location.
1500 Mcbrien Rd (Traffic Stop):
Alvaro Andres was arrested for driving while suspended, driving unregistered vehicle and financial responsibility following a traffic stop at this location.
639 Camp Jordan Parkway/Disorder:
The complainant wanted to report that an unknown male driving a white Chevrolet Silverado cut him off in the parking lot and started a verbal argument. The complainant stated the male showed a revolver in a holster but did not point it at anyone or remove it from the holster. The vehicle was GOA upon police arrival.
6514 Ringgold Rd/ Narcotics:
Donna Burns and Anthony Mullis were arrested for possession with intent to distribute (methamphetamine, oxycodone and marijuana) following a traffic stop. Cash and vehicle were seized.

November 01 – Day Shift
John Ross Road @ Bennett Road-
Road Construction Detour Failure- We received complaints regarding road construction in the area. The city street department was contacted and was to call the construction company to more clearly mark their detour.
336 Camp Jordan Road-
Suspicious People- The caller advised of two white males and one female walking in the area. Upon arrival police checked the area but didn’t locate the parties.
6301 Ringgold Road-
Suspicious Vehicle- The caller advised of a suspicious van parked in the lot. Upon arrival the van was gone.
2010 Schmidt Road-
Suspicious Vehicle- The caller advised a white four door vehicle was parked in the street. Upon arrival police spoke to the driver. He advised he was a teacher at the high school attempting to take a smoke break.
4340 Ringgold Road (Food and Tobacco Mart Food Lion Plaza)-
Disorder- Police responded and spoke to the business owner and the suspect. Georgia Graham was advised to leave the store. The owner didn’t wish to file a report.
South Moore Road @ Ringgold Road-
School Bus Crash- A school bus collided with a silver sedan at the intersection. There were no injuries.

November 01– Night Shift
1417 St. Thomas / Warrant Service:
Police responded to room 109 of the Motel 6 after an anonymous caller advised a female party at this location had active warrants. Police made contact with Charlotte Dunn and took her into custody for several felony warrants through surrounding agencies.
1500 McDonald Rd / Warrant Service:
Coral Chaney was taken into custody for Hamilton County Warrants following a traffic stop at this location.
5312 Bennett Road / False Reports:
Matthew Poythress was arrested for false reports after calling police to report that he heard people shooting at each other outside his house and he saw someone that he believed was shot lying on his back porch. Police were not able to find a victim, nor any evidence that a shooting took place. Matthew stepped outside and was noticeably under the influence of narcotics. He admitted to using methamphetamine four hours prior.
1051 Wynnwood Lane / Theft From a Vehicle:
The complainant reported that between the hours of 18:00, 10/31/2019, and 06:30, 11/1/2019, someone entered his 2012 VW Jetta that was parked in his driveway and took his wallet. The wallet was a brown leather Carhartt containing his TN DL, ATM card, 2x credit cards, and medical insurance card. He last saw his wallet when he placed it in the car after a visit to the East Ridge Taco Bell. He was wearing a costume without pockets, so he left it in the car. The car was not locked while it was parked at his house.

November 02 – Day Shift
4150 Ringgold Road (Walmart Gas Station)-
Distress Alarm- Upon arrival police spoke with management. The alarm was found to be accidental.
Maple Lane @ Germantown Road-
Suspicious Vehicle/Unconscious Person- The caller advised a white Kia had been sitting at the intersection since 0430 this morning and felt the occupants were unconscious. Upon arrival police spoke with the conscious occupants. They advised they were waiting on a tow truck.
4318 Lazard Street (Allied Community Service Group Home)-
Disorder- The caller advised of an assault between two (2) residents. Both are mental health consumers. The victim was transported to Parkridge East with minor injuries.
121 Ridgeside Road-
Animal Call- The caller advised while working on his mother’s house he found what he thought was evidence of a wild animal in the neighborhood. Police responded and spoke with the caller. Upon viewing the evidence, it appeared the damage may have been caused by a coyote.
317 Camp Jordan Parkway (Camp Jordan Ball Field #11)-
Back Fire/Traumatic Injury- Police responded with fire regarding an eleven-year-old female with a compound fracture to her right leg. She was transported to the hospital.
421 Scruggs Road- Disorder-
The caller advised of issues with Boyd Speedway patrons parking in his lot. He advised the owner of the speedway came to his lot and spun gravel. Upon arrival police spoke to the parties involved.
5418 Ringgold Road (Apollo Car Wash)-
Burglary- The caller advised sometime during the night someone entered the business and took vacuums and money. He did have video of the incident.
5300 Ringgold Road- Back Fire/Vehicle Fire-
Police were dispatched with fire on a vehicle fire. Upon arrival a fully ingulfed Chevy van was on the lot. Fire was able to extinguish the fire.
3920 Ringgold Road (Dollar General)-
Unknown Medical/CPR- Upon arrival CPR was started on a white male in the store. A pulse was established, and he was transported to the hospital. The incident appeared to be drug related.

November 02 – Night Shift
1509 E. Ridge Avenue/Suspicious Person(s):
Someone reported seeing a male crawl under the porch of the house at this address. Lee and Thomas were found at the house trying to load a water heater into a Chevrolet Impala. The men work for La Ross Construction and were given the water heater.
5301 Ringgold Road/Suspicious Person(s):
Walgreens’ employee reported two people in the dumpster digging. Police did not find anyone there.
1417 St Thomas / Disorder:
Police assisted the staff of the Motel 6 in removing an unwanted party from the property without issue.
6401 Ringgold Rd. / Disorder:
Police responded to this location in reference to unruly customers who were upset about the ice cream machine not working. Suspects were gone prior to police arrival and were not located.
1410 Mack Smith Rd / Domestic:
Police were called to the Budgetel Inn at room 3118 in reference to an assault. Police made contact with Mr. Bryson who stated that he was hugging his grandmother when black magic took over him and he woke up on the floor. The victims Mr. Bryson’s mother and grandmother stated that he attacked them and they both had minor injuries. Mr. Bryson was arrested for domestic assault and aggravated domestic assault.

November 03 – Day Shift
John Ross Rd @ Greenslake Rd –
Check for a Hazard – Police responded to this location when a concerned citizen reported that vehicles were ignoring the barricades at this location and driving into oncoming traffic to avoid having to take the detour. Several traffic stops were made at this location.
Camp Jordan Rd @ Camp Jordan Pkwy/1342 Ridgefield Cir –
Property Damage – Police responded to the fence line of Camp Jordan Park at Camp Jordan Rd after a park employee was notified by a resident of the area of a silver sedan that appeared to have struck the fence and left on the property. While on scene, officers were notified by dispatch that a party calling from 1342 Ridgefield Cir was attempting to report a vehicle stolen that matched the description of the vehicle that police were out with. Upon further investigation, it was found that one of the family members had taken the vehicle without permission and ran off the road.
708 S. Seminole Dr –
Disorder – An anonymous caller reported some type of verbal disorder behind this location. Police checked the area and did not locate anything.
4320 Bennett Rd –
Alarm – East Ridge High School – Police responded to an alarm at the school and located a rear gym door that was propped open by a shoe, with several more shoes inside. Officers first made contact with a coach in the new gym, who advised that he had been on scene for approximately an hour before police responded. Police cleared the entire building and did not locate anyone. The alarm was triggered several more times after this by an unknown cause and police requested a responsible to be en route.
3245 Castle Ave –
Noise Complaint – Caller reported that the parties at this location were having loud music. On arrival, the parties agreed to turn the music down.
4006 Bennett Rd –
Mental Health Consumer –A female subject was transported to Joe Johnson’s Mental Health after police received a call that she was experiencing hallucinations after using meth. Due to the conditions of the residence and use of an outbuilding as a shelter, code enforcement was notified and a CPS referral was made.

November 03 – Night Shift
941 Spring Creek Rd (Park Ridge East hospital):
Disorderly conduct: Police were called in reference to an assault in progress. Hospital staff advised that Kenisha Tijerina was causing a disorder by yelling and throwing things. She did throw a cation wet sign at a nurse, but the nurse did not wish to press any charges. Tijerina was arrested for disorderly conduct.
4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:
Police executed an outstanding warrant for Petition to Revoke: theft under $1000 on Carrie Humphrey when she turned herself in to the Hamilton County Jail.
1514 Swope Drive / Overdose:
Police responded to this address regarding an unconscious party. On scene police discovered a male subject to be the victim of a suspected drug overdose. The owner of the home turned over a gray ammo box that she stated belonged to the man. Inside the box was suspected Heroin, Methamphetamine, and other miscellaneous drug paraphernalia. The man was transported to Parkridge East Hospital. All evidence was entered into property/evidence. The subject’s cell phone was also entered into property for safe keeping. Warrants on the male subject are being sought.
