The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.
November 14 Day Shift
601 Walnut Street (warrant service):
Steve Allen Thurman Jr. was arrested at the jail on two East Ridge forfeiture capias warrants for DUI and open container law.
5080 S. Terrace (suspicious activity):
Police responded to the area in reference to a man wearing a sheet attempting to jump in front of cars. Police made contact with the man who was clothed but also wearing a hospital gown. He had just been released from Parkridge East following a seizure from the previous evening and was walking to the area of the VFW to retrieve his bicycle. He was checked for warrants and released.
1116 Edwin Lane (drugs):
Police, Fire and EMS were called to this location regarding a possible drug overdose. Upon arrival, EMS determined that the man was not experiencing an overdose. Police did find a small amount of suspected marijuana in plain view. Crime suppression handled the call.
1116 Edwin Lane (domestic assault):
On a return trip to this address Cuong Mang was arrested for domestic assault after he allegedly dragged his wife by her hair and threw her on the ground before punching her in the head and also striking his juvenile son.
631 Marlboro Ave (house fire):
Police assisted fire after a space heater in a basement closet caught fire.
November 14 – Night Shift
3700 Ringgold Rd (DUI):
William Mcintire Jr. was arrested for DUI, Due Care and possession of a handgun while under the influence following a crash at this location.
302 Dunlap Ave. (suspicious person):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a person going from car to car trying to open the car doors. Upon arrival police checked the area, no one was located.

November 15 – Day Shift
1668 Keeble Street- Disorder/Fire-
Police responded to this address with Fire on a fire in the yard and an escalating disorder between homeless parties and the homeowner. Upon arrival the fire was extinguished, and the disorder was stopped.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel)-
Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a black male on the property yelling. Upon arrival police encountered Robert Smith. Smith was arrested on domestic violence charges on 11-12 and is currently under conditions of release. While speaking with Smith he advised he had contacted the victim. He was arrested and charged with violation of conditions.
6401 Ringgold Road (McDonalds)-
Child Custody- The caller advised she was granted emergency custody of her niece and nephew but needed assistance in getting them from their volatile great aunt. Police stood by and prevented any further disorder.

November 15– Night Shift
5505 Brainerd Rd. / Warrant Service:
Michael Garrick was contacted by Chattanooga Police at this location and taken into custody for East Ridge warrants. Chattanooga took this party to the Hamilton County Jail.
1506 Karwill Ln apt C / UNK 911:
Police responded to this location for a 911 hang up. Upon arrival it was discovered the apartment was vacant with the front door open. Police cleared the residence and re-secured the building.
5300 block Clemons / Suicidal Party:
Police received a call from a man stating his sister had attempted suicide at this location. Police made contact with the woman who advised she had drank an unknown amount of antifreeze about 45 minutes prior to police arrival. She was taken to Parkridge East Hospital. Report on file.
6100 Ringgold Road/Arrest-DUI:
Arnufo A. Osorio was stopped for speeding, then arrested for DUI.
5740 Ringgold Rd / Warrant service/ Criminal impersonation:
Police made contact with three individuals loading and unloading items at the Goodwill after the business was closed. Mr. Clinton Hayes gave police the wrong information and was subsequently arrested for criminal impersonation and for having a Hamilton county warrant for FTA. Sabrina Williams was arrested for a Burglary warrant out of Catoosa County Ga.
100 Dorroh Ln apt#11 / Domestic Assault :
Police responded to this location after receiving a 911 call and the call taker hearing crying in the background. Upon arrival Police discovered that Willena Hogsed assaulted her boyfriend. Both parties refused EMS. Ms. Willena was arrested for domestic assault. While at the Police Department Ms. Willena was read Miranda warning and stated she understood them. Ms. Willena was then questioned about the assault and ultimately admitted to the crime. Conditions were served.

November 16 – Day Shift
184 I-24 East- AOA-
Officers assisted Chattanooga Police with traffic control following a motorcycle fatality on the interstate.
1309 Sunnyfield Lane-
The resident of this address requested an extra patrol of the neighborhood due to speeders. Officers responded to the area but observed no traffic while there.
323 Camp Jordan Parkway (Arena/RAM Event)-
Suspicious Activity- An anonymous caller advised of people attempting to sell food by the front doors of the arena. Officers responded and advised them to stop.
915 South Seminole Drive (Ridge Terrace #39)-
Burglary in Progress/Mental Health- The caller advised an unknown number of people were attempting to break into his apartment. A multitude of officers responded to find no burglary. Upon speaking to the caller, he advised someone just knocked on his door.
A short time later officers responded back to the apartment on a panic alarm. Upon arrival the alarm was said to be accidental.
405 Germantown Road- Identity Theft-
The caller advised an unknown suspect opened several bank accounts using his information.
5339 Connell Street- Theft-
The caller advised her neighbor took several items from her property. Police attempted to contact the neighbor but were unsuccessful.
1633 Clayton Avenue-
Suspicious Person/Vehicle- The caller advised of a white male in a tan or light brown Chevy truck park in his driveway and knock on his door. The male was gone before police arrival.
5346 Ringgold Road (Kimberly Motel)-
Suspicious Activity- Police were dispatched on people attempting to remove items from a shed on the property. Upon arrival officers located a male who was eventually identified as Joshua Lively. He was arrested and charged with criminal impersonation and possession of drug paraphernalia.

November 16 – Night Shift
Springvale Park / Narcotics:
Police contacted juveniles at this location in a vehicle with a strong odor of marijuana. No marijuana was located by police, the juveniles advised they had been smoking prior to police arrival. Parents of the juveniles were contacted and responded to pick them up. No further police action was taken.
Camp Jordan / Suspicious Activity:
Police observed a black truck with no lights on in a dark corner of a parking lot. When police approached the vehicle it was discovered it was occupied by two parties who were unclothed in the back seat. Both parties were juveniles, police contacted the parents and turned the juveniles over to their legal guardians.
1514 Springvale Rd / Burglary alarm:
Police were called to this location for an alarm. Upon arrival, police checked the perimeter of the residence and all doors and windows were secure. A neighbor called the homeowner and allowed police to check the inside of the home. Nothing was out of place and the neighbor reset the alarm.
1500 Mcbrien Rd / DUI:
Chase Steele was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop.

November 17 – Day Shift
There is a water main break at the intersection of Marlboro Avenue and Belvoir Drive. TAWC is aware.
323 Camp Jordan Parkway (Arena)-
Lost Property- The caller advised she lost her purse and contents at the park last night. The purse was described as being pink, black, and white in color.
AOA Warrant Service-
Taylor Heathington was detained and transported to 601 on Hamilton County assault warrants during a hit and run investigation.
5080 South Terrace (AMC Theater)-
Unknown 911- Police responded and spoke with management. They advised everything was ok. None of the patrons appeared in distress.
700 blk of South Sanctuary Road-
Animal Call- The caller advised of a possible injured coyote running in the street. TWRA and Animal Control were contacted. Police responded but didn’t locate the animal.

November 17 – Night Shift
1519 Greenslake Rd / Noise Complaint:
Police were called to this location in reference to a dog barking in the back yard causing a disturbance. Police made contact with the homeowner who stated that she would bring the dog inside the house for the night.
4145 Ringgold Rd (Lomenacque apartment F61) /Assault:
Police responded to this location in reference to a fight. Upon arrival, police made contact with three juveniles and one adult who all stated that a male juvenile punched an adult male in the face for “running his mouth.” The victim was transported to Park Ridge East Hospital to be treated for his injuries. Subsequently the juvenile was arrested for Assault and transported to JDU.
