Day Shift November 14
24-014455 -5300 BLK Ringgold Road, Southern Powersports – Auto Theft – Police responded to this business to take a report for theft of a 2024 Honda Goldwing by fraudulent means. An unknown individual filled out a credit application using an identification belonging to another party. The application was approved through the finance company and a transport company picked the bike up and transported it to an address located in Chicago, Il.
24-014456 – 3600 BLK Ringold Road – Property – The loss prevention manager reported to Police that an employee was terminated. After being notified of her termination, went to the deli and threw away all the sushi for sale into the garbage. Loss prevention told Police they wished to prosecute for the loss of product, a warrant for vandalism is pending.
Night Shift November 14
24-014468 – 1100 BLK John Ross Road – Suspicious Vehicle – Police responded to an abandoned vehicle in a residential driveway. The owner left a note on the dashboard with their phone number stating the vehicle had broken down. The owner returned later that evening to recover the vehicle.
24-014472 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Indecent Exposure – A caller reported a male urinating beside the caller’s car. The caller declined to speak with the police and left the scene. Police spoke with staff who stated they were unaware of the incident and did not wish to file a report.
24-014474 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop, Fictitious Temporary Tag – Police conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Malibu for a light law violation and seized a fictitious temporary tag. The driver was cited for Light Law, Improper Display, Unregistered Vehicle, and Financial Responsibility. An incident report was submitted to CID, and the tag was retained as evidence against the fraudulent vendor.
24-014476 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Alarm – Police were dispatched for an alarm. Officers checked the premises and confirmed all doors were secure.
24-014479 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Alarm – Police responded to an alarm triggered by a Zone 11 Receiving Area motion sensor. All exterior doors and windows appeared secure. Officers will follow up with the business during normal hours to address the ongoing alarm issues.
No Case Number – 700 BLK Germantown Road – Evading – ERPD observed a red sedan, possibly an early 2000s Ford or Kia, driving on Germantown Road without a functioning tag light. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle fled at a high speed onto S. Terrace and may have entered I-75 South. The driver, was described as a male wearing a red hoodie. The vehicle’s tag information remains unknown. A BOLO was issued to Chattanooga PD.
