The following information was compiled from East Ridge Police Department “pass along” reports.
Nov. 11 Day Shift
5310 Oakdale Avenue- Suspicious Activity-
Brian Traylor said he was contacted by a neighbor who said he saw two young males wearing hoodies and backpacks try to get into his car. Traylor had left his jeep running in the driveway but made sure it was locked. Two male subjects, unknown race, wearing hoodies and backpacks walked past the house around 0645. On security video you can see the subjects walk past the car and then come back and walk away again. Then they walk up and try the doors. It was at that moment the neighbor came out and the suspects fled toward Walgreen’s. Nothing was taken and the vehicle was not entered.
201 Eads Street (Dogwood Place)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of young-looking black male in the lot checking door handles and entering vehicles. Police responded and contacted the juvenile. Police confirmed he was the party who had entered the vehicles. After a brief interview the juvenile admitted he had entered several vehicles. While speaking with the juvenile a resident approached police and stated his vehicle was entered by the suspect. Lenny G. stated he had seen the video and confirmed his white Acura had been entered. Numerous other vehicles had also been entered. The juvenile’s mother and grandmother were contacted and given details of the incident. The juvenile was transported to JDU.
3400 Lisa Drive (The Ridge)- Verbal Disorder-
Police were initially dispatched to an aggravated domestic assault with a weapon and a possible stabbing. Upon arrival it was quickly found there had been no assault nor was there a weapon. Both parties had been arguing an had already parted ways before police were called. The female left the area with a friend and the male left on foot after speaking with police.
1417 Saint Thomas Street (Motel 6)- AOA Warrant Service-
Amy Albertson was detained and transported to 601 on Catoosa County warrants.
612 Maple Lane- Vehicle Burglary-
Police spoke with the resident at the police department regarding burglary of an auto. The resident advised at his residence, located at 612 Maple Lane, his gray 2014 Kia Forte was entered, and items were taken. The man advised his black backpack, containing his black iPhone xs, Microsoft surface book, and multiple other items were taken. The man advised that he left the vehicle unlocked at approximately 0100 hours and found it had been entered at 0830 hours.
4320 Bennett Road (East Ridge High School)- Sexual Assault-
The SRO advised he was informed by a teacher of a 15-year old juvenile claiming to have been sexually assaulted. The student was brought to the main office and her mother was contacted and responded to the school. The juvenile advised she had been assaulted by her 16-year old male friend on Margareta Lane yesterday. The school was advised to set a safety plan in effect to keep the suspect away from the victim. CID and CPS were notified of the incident.
4300 blk of Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/Arrest-
David Arias was arrested and charged with driving on revoked for DUI following a traffic stop. He was transported to 601.

Night Shift
827 Daryl Ln. / Noise:
Police responded to a noise complaint at this location regarding loud music. Music was turned off prior to police arrival.
24 EB / Evading:
While traveling on South Terrace police observed a maroon Chrysler convertible with a tan top cross all lanes of traffic and travel through the grass to make it onto 24 east bound causing another vehicle to run off the road. The Chrysler then lost control and pulled into the emergency lane after turning on its “emergency flashers” Police pulled behind the vehicle to check the status of the driver and activated blue lights due to heavy traffic. The driver then took off at a high rate of speed almost colliding with a semi. Police immediately deactivated emergency lights and BOLO’d the information to Chattanooga.
4330 Ringgold Rd. / Traffic Arrest:
Wendy Crawley was arrested at this location following a traffic stop. Crawley was charged with driving on suspended as well as warrants from Louden and Hamilton County.
Camp Jordan Parkway (warrant service) :
Police were called to check on a white male flashing people at the first pavilion in camp Jordan. Upon police arrival, police made contact with Robert Stiffler. Mr. Stiffler was fully clothed. After doing a warrants check it was found that Mr. Stiffler had three warrants out of Soddy Daisy. Mr. Stiffler was transported to Hamilton Co. Jail.
4320 Bennett Rd- East Ridge High School (Alarm) :
Police were called to this location in reference to a burglary alarm. Once on scene police discovered a open door located in the north east of the building. Police cleared the high school & nothing appeared to be out of place. The school’s maintenance staff showed up to the scene and turned the alarm off.
