Day Shift May 3
24-005602 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Domestic Disorder – Police were dispatched to this address after a complainant observed a male and female party engaging in a physical altercation. Officers contacted the male party at this location and located the female party sitting outside of the business. Both parties stated the other person hit them in the face, but neither one wanted to prosecute. Police found no physical evidence that an assault occurred. No charges were filed.
24-005597 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue– Harassment/Arrest – The reporting party contacted police regarding a harassment complaint against another woman. The evidence provided did not meet the criteria of harassment, and she was advised to block the party’s social media accounts. A miscellaneous report was completed. The RP was found to have a warrant out of Sessions Court and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-005587 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Noise Complaint/Medical Evaluation – Police responded to a report of male listening to loud music and waving his t-shirt at the apartments. Officers observed the man holding a glass jar in his hands and telling police if he breaks the jar then God would come back to the world. He was transported for a mental evaluation.
24-005583- 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road- Arrest- Officers were dispatched to a disorder between staff and a guest. The guest was found to be highly intoxicated. She was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-005586 – 3900 BLK Bennett Road – Arrest – Following a traffic stop at this location, a man was taken into custody for driving on revoked for DUI. He was also issued traffic citations.
24-005449 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Miscellaneous – Police reviewed surveillance video of a disorder/assault from 04/30/2024. During the incident, the juvenile was observed being an aggressor to an adult female and male parties. Officers later located the subject at Pioneer Frontier and advised he was criminally trespassed from the business by the store manager.
24-005604 – 1509 Tombras BLK Avenue -Park & Walk – Police conducted observation of the playground and park due to the ongoing issues with middle and high school aged juveniles causing problems on the grounds. Officers spoke with approximately twenty juveniles and advised them of the city ordinance prohibiting the using of the Orbeez-styled toy guns.
24-005614 – 1500 BLK Tombras Avenue – Violation of City Ordinance – A short time after police spoke with a group of juveniles about the city ordinance for projectile devices, officers heard and observed several juveniles in the park using the devices. Officers contacted the parties, confiscated the devices, and contacted their parents/guardians, who later responded to the scene and collected the juveniles and their belongings. One juvenile was advised to cease his actions and continued to operate the device, defying the officer’s orders. He was detained for his troubles.
24-005594 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder – A man was taken into custody for disorderly conduct. He was initially transported for a mental health evaluation however he began yelling, being disruptive in the emergency department and refusing to comply with staff. His actions were causing distress throughout the emergency room. This same subject has been the subject of police calls for service over the past few days.
Night Shift May 3
NO CASE NUMBER – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Police attempted to catch up with a yellow Chevrolet Camaro with a temp tag for excessive noise and speeding. The vehicle was traveling at a very high rate of speed East on Ringgold toward Georgia. Catoosa County SO located the vehicle and engaged in a pursuit; the Camaro crashed. The party was taken into custody in GA. It should be noted that the vehicle was parked in the police department parking lot revving its engine and playing loud music to purposely antagonize police. Police have had multiple interactions with the subject over the past week which have been contentious.
24-005633 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder / Arrest – A woman was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication following a Disorder at this location with her boyfriend.
24-005617- 1517 Tombras Avenue – Misc. Information – Police located many juveniles, stating a red vehicle was firing at them. Police located the vehicle along with two male juveniles. The juveniles were in possession of an Orbeez gun and admitted that they were playing a game with their high school student body. Both juveniles were explained the city ordinance, and that this behavior will not be tolerated. They both stated they understood.
Day Shift May 4
24-005661 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Evading/Pursuit – Police observed a silver Jeep traveling east in the 3600 block of Ringgold Rd. The vehicle crossed the center line, nearly striking an officer’s vehicle head on. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but it conducted a U-turn and accelerated away at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was being driven very erratically all over the road, nearly striking several other vehicles. Due to the way the vehicle was being driven, police believed the driver was intoxicated and continued efforts to stop it. The vehicle fled into Chattanooga and attempted to turn west on Navajo Dr. The driver of the vehicle lost control, left the roadway, and struck a residence. The driver fled on foot. A passenger in the vehicle was injured in the crash and transported to a local hospital. Police located the driver a short time later and took him into custody. He was charged with Felony Evading, Reckless Endangerment, Traffic Control Device Violations, Speeding, Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance, Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injuries, License Required, Driving Left of Center, and Reckless Driving. The subject was also arrested on East Ridge warrants for two counts of Aggravated Domestic Assault, Misuse of 911 and Filing False Reports. He was medically cleared at a local hospital and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-005649 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI Arrest – After a traffic stop, a man was arrested for DUI, open container and financial responsibility.
24-005668 – 400 BLK Lynncrest Drive – DUI/Arrest – The homeowner of this residence called advising there were two males outside of her house. Upon arrival, police located one party standing on the driver’s side of the wrecked Ford Mustang. There was another male lying on the concrete near the passenger side. The passenger was too intoxicated to identify himself to the police. The driver smelled of alcohol and was unable to communicate clearly with police. The passenger was taken by EMS. The arrestee was taken for medical clearance and then transported to Hamilton County Jail for Driving Under the Influence.
24-005665 – 4214 Ringgold Road (800 BLK State Line Road) – Miscellaneous – The RP came to the police department to report being mailed two checks totaling over $10,000 from someone she met on Facebook. She stated the subject requested she deposit the checks and send him approximately $500, which she believed to be suspicious and notified police. The checks were collected and placed into property and evidence.

24-003516 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with three warrants for Assault (2X) and Disorderly Conduct.
24-005676 – 3200 BLK Castle Avenue – Disorder with a Weapon – A party was taken into custody for Domestic Assault following a call for a Disorder with a Weapon. No weapon was used during the Assault.
Day Shift May 5
24-005712- 5700 BLK Ringgold Road- Field Interview- Officers observed a male traveling westbound on Ringgold Road wearing a mask covering his face and swinging a metal object. The man stated he had just been released from jail and was heading downtown. He has in the past been hostile and a threat towards law enforcement.
24-005719- 6800 BLK Martha Avenue- Vehicle Burglary- The victim stated an individual entered her husband’s truck this morning and was rearranging things on her front porch. She stated the known party, and another male were driving a U-Haul entering resident’s yards. He was positively identified as the subject entering the truck and was located at his residence on Martha Avenue. He was taken into custody for other East Ridge warrants and for burglary of an automobile.

24-005737 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was served on three outstanding East Ridge forfeiture capias warrants for possession of schedule II, criminal simulation, and theft of property.
Day Shift May 6
24-005767- 6800 BLK Martha Avenue- Theft- Officers spoke with the complainant who advised today she discovered her Taurus Revolver had been stolen from her closet. She stated the last time she saw the firearm was approximately two or three weeks ago. The complainant did say her three adult children and some of their associates were in and out of the residence, however, she was not certain who may have stolen the firearm. NCIC was notified of the stolen firearm, but the system was down.
Night Shift May 6
24-005785 – 900 BLK State Line Road– Assault/Arrest – Police responded to this location for an assault complaint. Police arrested a man for public intoxication and assault (simple) upon investigation of his actions against his landlord.
24-005789 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a black Dodge Ram truck for driving with no lights after dark. The driver was identified by his TN ID. His TN DL is currently revoked for DUI. He was arrested for Driving on Revoked for DUI and transported to jail without further incident.
24-005793 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – SIA – Officers conducted a knock and talk at a room in an effort to contact a party with multiple warrants out of Criminal Court. He was taken into custody without further incident. A consent search of the hotel room was conducted, and drug paraphernalia was seized. The paraphernalia will be entered into property for destruction.
24-005801 – Ringgold Road / Burns Avenue – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop, a woman was taken into custody on warrants from Catoosa County, Georgia. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-005802 – 1400 BLK Altamaha Street – Field Interview – Police observed a bicyclist on the roadway w/out a headlight. The bicyclist was identified. He was negative for warrants, and he freely consented to a search of his belongings without delay. Police conducted a field interview.
24-005803 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Filed Interview – Police observed a bicyclist on the roadway w/ out a headlight and carrying a large bundle of A/C copper coil with a refrigerant bottle attached. The bicyclist was identified. He was negative for warrants and refused consent to a search of his belongings. He told police the bundle of coils came from the dumpster at a hardware store in the 5700 block of Ringgold Road. Police conducted a field interview.
