April 30 – Day Shift
5301 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Jimmy Maxwell was arrested on Aggravated Arson warrants through Hamilton County after a consensual encounter.
5700 Ringgold Road (felony evading):
A tan Chevrolet 1500 with three occupants failed to stop for police and continued east on Ringgold Road in a very reckless manner. The vehicle was located at the dead end of Martha Avenue with one passenger remaining. The vehicle was towed to Broome’s.

April 30 – Night Shift
3984 Ringgold Rd (Overdose):
A male subject was in a vehicle when he became unresponsive and stopped breathing. The driver stopped at the Stop N Go and called 911. Narcan was administered and CPR was started. EMS transported the man to Parkridge East. An overdose report was completed.
609 Maple Ln (Auto Theft):
A green 1997 Nissan Maxima with a missing passenger side mirror, scratched doors and a blown headlight was stolen from 609 Maple Ln between the hours of 2130 on April 30 and 0059 hours on May 1. The vehicle was entered into NCIC.
4152 Ringgold Rd. (DUI):
Christopher Allen was arrested for DUI and driving on revoked at this location.

May 01 – Day Shift
Tyler Warner, Jimmy Green, and Brittni Simmons were trespassed from the Econo lodge per motel management.
3700 blk of Fountain Avenue- Improperly Parked Vehicles-
The caller advised of a vehicle blocking the roadway. Upon arrival the vehicle owner was located and advised to move the vehicle.
1441 North Smith Street (Holliday Inn)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a homeless male in the business refusing to leave. Upon arrival he was advised to leave the property.
6674 Ringgold Road (Rodeway Inn)- Warrant Service-
Morgan Shoemaker was detained and transported to 601 on Hamilton County warrants. Cartavius Fisher was validated as a Gangster Disciple.
6509 Slater Road (Sugar Plumb Antiques)- Theft-
The caller advised several flower planters were taken from the front of the business sometime during the night. There is currently no video or suspects.
6501 Slater Road (Department 1-3)- Theft-
While investigating a previous incident police spoke to the victim. She advised she observed over surveillance video a white male suspect taking several planters from in front of her business. She feels the suspect came in her store several days ago and attempted to sell items. The suspect is a white male with tattoos and a beard.
12 Ridgeside Road- Auto Theft-
Upon arrival police spoke with the victim. He advised around 0330, an unknown white male with a dark beard, stole his 2006 Ford Ranger TN 574CQR, that was parked in the rear of the residence. The victim showed the “Ring” camera footage, and it shows the male come onto the property at 0330 and retrieve clothing out of the vehicle. The same party comes back at 0500 and leaves in the vehicle. Victim advised he would attempt to download the “Ring” camera footage and provide it to police later. Vehicle was entered in NCIC.
Later in the shift the stolen vehicle was recovered in Chattanooga following a traffic crash. The driver was arrested by CPD. The vehicle tag is still listed in NCIC as stolen.
4338 Ringgold Road (Food Lion)- Suspicious Activity-
The caller advised of an unknown black male urinating on the sidewalk at the front of the business. The male was gone before police arrival.
802 South Germantown Road- Hit and Run/Arrest-
Police were dispatched to the corner of Ida Belle Lane and South Germantown Road for an accident with injuries. Upon arrival police spoke with several parties involved in the crash and they advised the driver that caused the crash had left the scene. The driver was identified as Blare Bledsoe. Upon locating her she was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and leaving the scene. Her vehicle was towed by Brooms Towing.
6674 Ringgold Road (Rodeway Inn/OYO)- Wellbeing Check-
Police responded to the lobby of the motel. A female subject was found to be conscious but could not respond to questions. A large number of prescription medication was in her motel room. She was transported to Parkridge East by EMS.
4150 Ringgold Road (Walmart)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a black male walking around the store with a handgun. Upon arrival police encountered the man. Upon checking him through dispatch he was found to have a valid carry permit. He was sent on his way.

May 01 – Night Shift
1417 St Thomas Street / alias capias warrant:
Police responded to the Motel 6 for a disorder. Randal Keeton was on scene and taken into custody for alias capias forfeiture warrant out of East Ridge, TN. The remainder of the disorder was verbal in nature.
5310 Anderson Ave / Warrants:
Police conducted a traffic stop at this location were Dustin Gray was found to be in violation of his conditions of release through Hamilton County, Gray was taken into custody. Amel Shabaz was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and heroin. Due to the non violent nature of the possession warrants area being sought for Shabaz.
204 Hilldale Drive/Burglary-Auto:
The complainant reported items stolen from his unsecured vehicle which was parked in his driveway.
3700 Fountain Avenue/Disorder-Domestic:
The complainant wanted her son removed from her house. Her son pays her rent and does not want to leave. Officers responded three times during the shift.
600 Maple Lane/Criminal Trespass:
The resident called about Terry A. Cuzzort being in his yard looking around with a flashlight. Cuzzort was transported to 601 Walnut on county warrants and criminally trespassed from 600 Maple Lane.

May 02 – Day Shift
5306 Greenbriar Road- Auto Theft-
The caller advised sometime during the night someone stole her Jeep Wrangler (TN 1M29F8). The vehicle was entered in NCIC. The suspects are two males dressed in black walking through the neighborhood. Images of the two were caught by several Ring cameras in the area.
4145 Ringgold Road- Missing Child-
The caller advised his two-year-old son had been missing from the apartment for approximately fifteen minutes. Upon arrival police started a search of the area. A short time after arrival the child was located hiding in the apartment.
3725 Fountain Avenue (The Belvoir #10)- Discharge of a Weapon-
The caller in apartment eight advised while sitting in his apartment he heard a loud pop and a bullet enter his apartment. He advised he then heard a loud banging on his front door. Upon arrival police contacted Terry Bell in the breezeway of the building. He advised he had accidentally discharged his firearm into the neighboring apartment and was checking on the occupants. This will be the second discharge of a weapon call where Bell was not in control of his firearm. The first was on 1-16-20. Bell was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment.
703 South Lovell Avenue- Auto Theft-
The caller advised sometime during the night an unknown suspect stole his 07 Nissan Sentra. The vehicle was entered in NCIC.

May 02 – Night Shift
5303 Greenbriar Rd/ Auto Burglary:
Police were called, in reference to an unknown suspect entering vehicles at this location. No items missing, report on file.
604 Bacon Trl Apt#4/ Domestic assault:
Police arrested Whitney Usher at this address for assaulting her daughter. The daughter was relocated to 302 Dunlap Ave Apt#24 for safe keeping and bond conditions were served.
3300 Ringgold Rd (warrant):
Police initiated a consensual stop at this location where Kirk Peters was found to have full extradition warrants out of Kentucky for a parole violation. After arriving at the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. The jail refused to take Peters because that agency wanting Peters would not send a letter head. After two hours of trying to work it out with the jail staff and sessions clerk, the male party was transported back to the location of arrest and released.
5816 Ringgold Road (UHaul) / Business Check:
While preforming a business check at this location police contacted a female turning in a rented truck who was concerned about the late hour police checked the area for her and waited for her to finish her turn in.
3200 Hutcheson St. / Arrest:
While on patrol police observed a white male looking into cars, when he saw police, he attempted to leave the area in a hasty manner. Police contacted the male party to speak with him, when police mentioned car burglaries in the area to the male party, he became defensive continued to flee police on foot. Police ended the foot pursuit at 803 South Seminole by deploying a department issued Taser and took the male party into custody. He was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. The uncooperative male party was booked under John Doe.

May 03 – Day Shift
Suspicious Activity/Scam-
The anonymous caller stated he received a text message from an unknown source through the Text Now App at approximately 1500. According to the anonymous caller, the message was from a 2nd generation Mexican cartel member named Augustan Ferreya and contained pictures of decapitated bodies. The anonymous caller further stated the text message directed the exchange of an undisclosed amount of US dollars in order to bring peace between their families. The caller was asked if he knew anyone in Mexico or had any family associated with Mexico, and he responded no. Police then advised the caller that the text message was a possible scam. Police requested additional information from the caller to include his name and location, but he refused to provide any additional information. The anonymous caller then stated he was going to contact a local FBI Office concerning the issue. Police could not determine if the information provided by the caller was genuine or if it occurred in the United States.
5001 Kenton Drive- Vehicle Burglary-
The caller advised sometime during the nighttime hours his unlocked vehicle was entered by an unknown suspect. He advised nothing appeared to have been taken.
3918 Ringgold Road (Sunoco)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a white male with a partially shaved head walking in and out of the business carrying a pink teddy bear and yelling. The male had left the business before police arrival. Officers in the area found the pink bear in the alley behind the old Kingwood building but the male was not located.
183 I-24 East- Wellbeing Check-
The caller advised of a male walking in and out of traffic on the interstate. Upon arrival in the area no one was observed in our jurisdiction.
323 Camp Jordan Parkway- Suspicious Activity-
Police observed suspicious activity and initiated a traffic stop for a light law violation on a blue Chevrolet pickup. Police identified the driver Timothy M. and the passengers Miranda Howland, Daniel D., Richard H. and Shawn Patterson. Howland was taken into custody on an outstanding East Ridge warrant. She was issued a new court date and released. Patterson was transported to the Hamilton County Jail on Red Bank warrants. All others were released.

May 03 – Night Shift
1130 Chippewah Dr/ Criminal trespass:
A female subject was criminal trespassed from this location after telling the RP she was going to kill herself with a kitchen knife and telling police to shoot her. She was transported to Park Ridge East Hospital for a mental evaluation.
5550 Clemmons Road / Attempted Aggravated Burglary:
Complainant reported that a former employee of his, Robby Kellis, attempted to enter his garage without permission with the intent to steal complainant’s belongings. When Mr. Kellis could not open the door, he returned to his truck and departed the scene. A witness took pictures of the suspect, the truck he was driving and forwarded them to police via email. Warrants are pending for Robby Kellis.
