Day Shift May 29
24-006921- 1500 BLK Tombras Avenue- Found Property- A concerned citizen dropped off a Tennessee driver’s license and two debit cards. The citizen stated she found the items on the ground at Pioneer Frontier Park. Police requested dispatch attempt to locate a phone number for the owner. Dispatch found several phone numbers associated but officers were not able to reach her. The items have been placed into East Ridge Police Department property and evidence for safekeeping.
24-006923- 1700 BLK Castleberry Avenue- Wellbeing Check- Dispatch advised of a phase two 911 call from a 911 only phone. Officers checked the residence, but the homeowner advised no one had called 911. A short time later officers were advised Catoosa County was also receiving the calls. The child caller was in Georgia.
Night Shift May 29
No Number –1400 BLK Spring Creek– Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop a man was taken into custody for two Hamilton County warrants.
24-006930 – 200 BLK Eads St– Domestic Assault – Police were dispatched to this location involving a disorder with the property manager. The suspect was extremely intoxicated and initially left the residence with her mom. Later that same night her brother called wanting to report that his sister had assault him during the previous incident. She was subsequently charged with Domestic Assault.
24-006931 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Fraud – The reporting party spoke with police regarding a large transaction she had received that seemed suspicious. Police informed her of the proper steps to report to her bank in order to prevent possible damage to her bank account or potential liability due to the likelihood of scammers at work.
24-006933 – 1500 BLK McBrien Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded to reports of someone checking mailboxes in the 1500 block of McBrien Road. Police located the suspect and identified him. The subject told police he put a lock washer he found on the ground inside a mailbox. The man had 2 warrants out of Sessions Court that failed to verify. Police conducted a Field Interview (FI 24-000101) and advised him not to touch property that did not belong to him.
24-006940 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Fraud – An Employee at the restaurant stated an unknown male came into the business and paid for his $7 order with a fake $100 bill. The employee stated she did not know it was fake until after the store had closed.
24-006942 – 5300 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Police Assist Citizen – Police responded to an intoxicated party that required assistance getting into his home after drinking at the bar. He fell several times and required assistance walking. EMS was dispatched due to a minor head injury. The party refused transport to the hospital.
24-006945 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Police observed a black motorcycle traveling westbound at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle failed to stop and came to a stop at the 3400 block of Shadowlawn Lane. The rider was taken into custody for Reckless Driving and Felony Evading.
