Day Shift May 23
24-006585 – 1600 BLK Glowmont Drive Apartment– Miscellaneous – Police responded to this location on a property damage call. It was discovered that the concrete porch had collapsed while a party was standing on it. She was transported by EMS for minor injuries and back pain. City Codes was made aware.
24-006582 – 5000 BLK Delaware Drive– Theft from Vehicle (attempted) – The caller stated he exited his residence and observed a male leaning inside the cabin of his vehicle. He stated he called out to the suspect, who immediately fled on foot. The owner stated the vehicle was unlocked and does not believe any items were stolen.
24-006584 – 4800 BLK Madonna Avenue – Theft from Vehicle (attempted) – The resident stated her surveillance camera captured images of a male inside the cabin of her vehicle. She stated she turned on and off the outside lights to alert the suspect he was being observed. He immediately fled on foot. The owner stated the vehicle was unlocked and does not believe any items were stolen.
24-006617 – 800 BLK Poindexter Avenue – Deceptive Practice – A party contacted police after he noticed several transactions totaling $1,999 pending on his bank account he did not authorize. A warrant for theft will be sought pending identification of the suspect.
24-006620 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Chattanooga Police conducted a traffic stop on a man who was found to have an active warrant out of East Ridge. An East Ridge officer transported the party to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift May 23
24-006639 – 1600 BLK Prater Road – Assist Other Agency – A man was taken into custody for three warrants out of Blount County following a prowler call at this location. He was given a notice of Criminal Trespass as well.
24-006633 – 4800 BLK Delaware Drive – Assist Other Agency – Police assisted CPD’s Baker Team in the attempt to locate the suspect / registered owner of a vehicle involved in an accident. Police were unable to locate the party.
24-006632 – 6800 BLK Ringgold Road – Driving on Revoked – After a traffic stop on a black GMC Yukon, a man was arrested for driving on revoked for being a habitual DUI offender. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-006634 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Shoplifting / Assist Other Agency – A woman was arrested for Shoplifting after she was observed leaving with $486 worth of unpaid merchandise. She was also found to have active warrants through Hamilton County, Catoosa County, and the City of Fort Oglethorpe.
No number assigned – I-24 East @ Moore Road – Assist Other Agency – ERPD responded to assist CPD and HCSO after an HCSO deputy’s vehicle was struck on the interstate.
