Day Shift May 21
24-006478- 3700 BLK Ringgold Road- Lost/Found Property- The caller reported he had lost his wallet on 5-20-24 at this location. He described the wallet as being a tan leather bifold. Additionally, the caller advised that his wallet contained $500 cash, a paper copy of his identification card, a debit card, and an Apple AirTag. The wallet was tracked to an address in Chattanooga, but it was not located. Later in the shift an individual arrived at the police department and turned in the wallet. It was returned to the caller. He advised nothing was missing.
24-006481- 1400 BLK Greenslake Road- Trespass- The caller advised several males were observed entering the vacant house at this address. The house was cleared, and nothing appeared damaged. The owner requested an extra watch.
24-006482- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft- The caller reported the theft probably occurred sometime over the weekend between 5/17/24 and 5/19/24 at an unknown time. She advised a book of $25 Jumbo lottery tickets was taken from the back office of the store. On 5/20/24 at midnight an unknown suspect attempted to cash in one of the tickets, but it was blocked and reported. She intends to follow up with other employees and see if there is suspect information.
24-006486- 5700 Roper Street- Property Damage- Police spoke with the reporting party who advised when he returned home today at approximately 1015 hours, he noticed the glass portion of his patio door had been shattered. He stated the last time he saw the door before the damage was on 05/20/2024 at approximately 1600 hours. Police observed the glass portion of the patio door shattered but it is unknown how it occurred. There are no suspects.
24-006491- Ringgold Road @ Kingwood Drive- Disorder/Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a male in the area acting strange. Police located the male and identified him. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.
Night Shift May 21
24-006509 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road –Vehicle Theft-Stolen/Recovered – The car’s owner called and stated that a known man and woman had stolen her vehicle earlier in the evening. She received word the vehicle was at an East Ridge hotel. Police recovered the vehicle and contacted the suspect who was arrested for theft over $1,000 and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without issues. Warrants are being sought for the other suspect for theft over $1.000.
