Day Shift May 17
24-006294 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Theft – Police contacted two suspects who were stealing a pair of Oakley glasses valued at $190.10. One was misdemeanor cited for Theft of property (shoplifting) and the other was misdemeanor cited for Conspiracy.
24-006302 – Sunnyfield Lane/ Gibson Lane – Auto Theft – Police contacted a man who was identified as a possible suspect for a vehicle theft. He did not have the vehicle and was transported to the Community Kitchen in Chattanooga at his request. Currently, there is no evidence of him having stolen a vehicle.
Night Shift May 17
24-006335 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with a warrant for Forfeiture Capias – Public Intoxication while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
24-006339 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspected Theft – Police observed a white box truck behind the business suspected to be involved in grease thefts. Police contacted the driver as a possible suspect but were unable to confirm a theft had occurred at the time. The party was stopped at another restaurant prior to the contact, and an representative for the business advised that no one should be present. The man had equipment commonly used in the thefts, and warrants will be pending further investigation into the matter.
24-006315 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Unlawful Possession of Firearm – Police were summoned due to a party attempting to purchase a firearm underage. The party had active warrants out of Hamilton County for aggravated assault. At the time of arrest, police located a firearm concealed in his waistband. (Century Arms TP9 SFX). The man admitted to police that he knew he was not allowed to carry a concealed firearm due to being underage of 21. He is being charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.
24-006337 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Service / Found Property – Following a stop of a bicyclist, a man was taken into custody for multiple active warrants out of Hamilton County. He told police he had a cell phone on his person that he found at a nearby fuel station. The cell phone was added into property.
23-013594 – 3200 BLK Gleason Drive – Warrant Service – During a traffic stop, a woman was found to have two active arrest warrants through East Ridge. The warrants were for Possession of Schedule II and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-006336 – 3200 BLK Gleason Drive – Narcotics Violation – During a search incident to arrest, the same party from above was found to be in possession of 0.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine. The suspected narcotics were concealed in her pants. She was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
Day Shift May 18
23-016526 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Arrest – A woman was located inhabiting a space under the bridge near this location. A record check revealed she had a valid East Ridge warrant for Animal Cruelty. Through the cooperation of ERPD, ERFD, and HCEMS, she was transported to the hospital for her perceived ailments. After she was medically cleared, she was taken to the jail utilizing the transport van.
24-006343 – 3100 BLK Bimini Place – Arrest – The driver was found to be unlicensed and the vehicle he was operating was uninsured. He had been stopped by the same officer in a different vehicle, for another minor traffic offense, on the previous day. He had been warned to cease driving and a citation was issued. Because the man failed to heed the warning and continued driving, he was taken into custody.
24-006354 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – DUI – Police were informed of a driver who was driving erratically through Camp Jordan Parkway. Officers located the vehicle and the driver, who was unconscious, in the parking lot. The driver was taken for medical attention and confessed to drinking and taking medication before driving. Police also found two counterfeit Tennessee identification cards in his name with different dates of birth. The driver identified was medically cleared and transported to Hamilton County Jail for two counts of criminal simulation and DUI.
Night Shift May 18
24-006375 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Stolen Vehicle – A vehicle LPR detected a possible stolen Toyota Camry traveling westbound on Ringgold Road. Dispatch confirmed the stolen vehicle NCIC hit, and a traffic stop was conducted. The vehicle theft was reported through Walker County; however, the responding Deputy could not verify the vehicle as stolen. The driver provided her information, and she was released at the scene with the vehicle. A report is on file.
24-006378- 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Person – The caller reported male suspect wondering the halls wearing a black mask at the hotel. There were multiple children that reported seeing this masked suspect. Police canvased the area but did not locate the party.
Day Shift May 19
24-006406 – 5300 BLK Marion Avenue – Backup EMS – A party called in after she found her friend’s toddler unconscious in their pool. The caller performed CPR on the juvenile, and he was breathing and conscious upon police arrival. The child was transported for a medical evaluation.
24-006394 – 6800 BLK Martha Avenue – Warrant Service – Police executed an outstanding warrant for Burglary of an Auto. The party was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-006398 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Store employees reported a male walked out of the store with approximately $116 worth of Gain detergent, dog food and other items. The manager advised he approached the subject about the items. The man quickly surrendered them and then fled the parking lot.
24-006393 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Attempted Warrant Service – A woman left the hospital against medical advice for the fourth time in approximately 48 hours. It was discovered she had valid warrants for her arrest through Catoosa County. Catoosa stated they would extradite her. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail to be held on those warrants. The jail refused to accept her due to medical concerns. She was transported to another hospital by police due to its proximity to the Hamilton County Jail.
Night Shift May 19
24-006415 – 3400 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI / Narcotics Violation – Police observed a red sedan travelling at a high rate of speed and driving recklessly in the 3100 block of Ringgold Rd and initiated a traffic stop. When the blue lights were activated to catch up to the vehicle, the vehicle almost struck an ambulance before stopping in the 3400 block. During the investigation, it was determined that the driver was intoxicated and the passenger was in possession of marijuana and cocaine. Both parties were arrested for their crimes and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-006423 – 1300 BLK Altamaha Street – Disorder – The caller advised of an intoxicated male knocking on doors and yelling in the street. Police determined the male was a juvenile and had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. The juvenile was transported him to the hospital where he became combative with the staff and assaulted a police officer. Juvenile Petitions will be sought for.
Day Shift May 20
24-006443- 800 BLK South Germantown Road- Theft- A representative called to report a theft of wire. The theft occurred on phone pole # S8819. ATT received an outage report at a home using this pole and found around 60 feet of copper wire had been stolen. No suspect information is available. The theft probably occurred sometime between 5/19/24 around 2300 and 5/20/24 around 0700.
24-006429- 3600 BLK Missionaire Avenue- Disorder- A woman contacted police regarding an argument with her daughter. Both advised they were arguing over money. The daughter advised her mother grabbed a knife during the argument. Police were not able to confirm a knife was involved during the argument, nor was a knife found in the vicinity where the argument took place.
24-006441- 4100 BLK Belvoir Drive- Disorder- The caller reported her ex-girlfriend followed her from Brainerd Road to the home on Belvoir Drive and assaulted her. He was no longer on scene when officers arrived. Officers were able to review camera footage of the alleged assault. Both put their hands up in a fighting position and then began throwing punches at one another. Due to it appearing to be mutual combat in the video, no charges will be sought.
24-006444- 800 BLK Belvoir Hills Drive- Burglary Attempt- The resident called police to investigate a possible break-in. It was determined an unknown person caused minor damage to the door frame while attempting to gain access to the residence. Entry was unsuccessful. The victim told police no items were missing from the home and there were no signs of suspect entry.
Night Shift May 20
24-006458 – John Ross Road/Shirl Jo Lane – Drug Overdose-Attempt to Stop – Police were dispatched to the area of John Ross Road and Shirl Jo Lane regarding a suspect in a car overdosing while driving. After locating the vehicle on Edwards Terrace, police attempted to stop the vehicle when it fled into Georgia at a high rate of speed. The suspect was later located on Hilton Drive. The suspect was transported to the hospital and charges are currently pending.
24-006461 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Delayed Assault – A manager advised police of an assault. The manager advised a female wearing a black dress came into the store and assaulted her. Police located the suspect walking south on Mack Smith. She was taken into custody for Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Theft under 1000. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-006464 – 20 BLK Sheridan Road – Burglary Attempt – Police were dispatched for a male wearing black sweat pants and white hoodie attempting to enter vehicles. The suspect ran off when confronted by the son of reporting person.
