The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.
May 12 Day Shift
The Knoxville Police Department contacted the East Ridge Police Department to report the recovery of a stolen handgun. The Browning 22 pistol was reported stolen on December 23, 2003, from the residence at 336 Cedar Glen Circle (03-21283). The original owner of the firearm was contacted. The weapon was removed from NCIC.
5611 Ringgold Road (Ridgewood Village)- Wellbeing Check-
The caller advised of a homeless person sleeping behind the buildings. Upon arrival police located William B. asleep. He was advised to move along.
21 Crescent Park- Alarm-
Police responded and checked the residence. It was secure.
3615 Missionaire Avenue- Warrant Service-
Lindsey Grider was arrested on warrant number 140870. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail.
4003 Patton Edwards Drive- Warrant Service-
Emily Sells was arrested and served a warrant for petition to revoke on an original charge possession of a controlled substance. She was taken into custody and transported to 601 Walnut St.
3227 Ringgold Road (First Bank)- Alarm-
Police were dispatched again regarding the ATM ambush alarm. Upon contact by phone the bank employee advised it was still malfunctioning.
518 South Moore Road- Alarm-
Police responded to the residence and found the alarm to be accidental.
1700 Prigmore Road- Suspicious People-
The caller advised of a black male and white female walking around the abandoned house at this address. Upon arrival officers located the two people. Both were checked for warrants and advised not to return.
3500 block Connelly Lane- Overdose-
Upon arrival police found a male subject had overdosed on heroin again. He was given several doses of Narcan and transported to Parkridge East.

Night Shift
3200 Ringgold Rd. / DUI:
Monique Thomas was arrested on suspected DUI following a traffic stop.
1207 John Ross Rd/ Evading Arrest:
Police encountered Roy Galloway riding his bicycle into oncoming traffic. Mr. Galloway ran from police before being captured in the 4000 block of Bennett Rd. Mr. Galloway was in possession of narcotics and a stolen firearm. Mr. Galloway received a $52,500 bond. This is also the male suspected in the burglary of 4005 Bennett apt 5 the night prior.
6303 Ringgold Rd / Narcotics Violation:
Police received a call in reference to a white male wearing a blue hoodie attempting to sell narcotics at this location. Suspect was gone prior to police arrival.
700 S. Germantown / Warrant Service:
Shelton Copeland was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail for active warrants through Hamilton County following a traffic stop at this location.
4150 Monroe Street (Walmart) / Shoplifting:
Police received a call from Loss Prevention at Walmart to investigate a shoplifting incident that occurred on May 9th. Police obtained photos and a DVD recording of the security surveillance cameras and placed them into property and evidence. The Unknown suspect is a white female that appeared to be in her 40’s. She swapped tags from lower priced items with an Instapot and a pot roast then left the store.
1706 Keeble Street / Field Interview:
Police stopped a bicyclist for riding at night without a headlight affixed to the front of the bike. The rider was identified and had no outstanding warrants. He stated that he was on his way to his girlfriend’s house in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. Police gained consent to search his person but nothing illegal was found.
100 Interstate 75 North, Tennessee Welcome Center/Crash-Property Damage:
A 39’ Coachman RV backed into a Semi-truck parked there.
