The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports provided by the administration.
May 07 – Day Shift
6220/6200 Ringgold Road- Robbery/Carjacking-
Police were dispatched to 6220 Ringgold Rd on report of a robbery in progress. While en route police were also dispatched to 6200 Ringgold Rd on report of a carjacking at approximately the same time. Officers arrived on scene at both locations and quickly ascertained the events were perpetrated by the same suspect. Officers on scene at 6220 Ringgold Rd spoke with a male victim. The victim stated he had been approached by a black male wearing a bandana around his face and head. The victim described the black male as being approximately five foot eight and weighing approximately one hundred thirty pounds. The victim stated the suspect approached him and snatched his vehicle keys out of his hand. The suspect then entered the vehicle and quickly determined he did not have the necessary key to start the vehicle. The suspect exited the vehicle and left the scene running west behind the Taco Bell, 6200 Ringgold Rd.
Officer’s on scene at 6200 Ringgold Rd spoke with a female victim. She stated she was seated in her Mazda Tribute in the parking lot of Taco Bell. She stated a black male wearing a gray bandana around his face approached her vehicle. She described the suspect as a black male approximately five foot seven inches tall and weighing approximately one hundred fifty pounds. She stated the suspect was wearing a blue “scrub” type shirt and very baggy blue shorts. The victim went on to state the suspect grabbed her by the arm and forcibly removed her from the vehicle. She went on to state the suspect shoved her to the ground and took her vehicle. The vehicle was last seen being driven around the south side of the Taco Bell.
Officers on scene determined the suspect had left 6220 Ringgold Rd and fled behind the Taco Bell into a yard at 1506 Castleberry Ave. Officers observed fresh footprints in the dew and located a dry cloth towel on the driveway of 1506 Castleberry Ave. The rag was stained with what appeared to be dry blood. The stolen Mazda Tribute was entered in NCIC.
6701 Ringgold Road- Vehicle Recovery-
The carjacked vehicle and the suspect were observed on the lot of the Sunrise Market business. After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was detained and charged with two counts of carjacking and evading. He was identified as Micah Buchanan. One of the passengers in the vehicle identified as Timothy Youngblood was also arrested and charged with assault on police and resisting arrest. The Mazda was removed from NCIC.
1026 Greenslake Road- Theft-
Police spoke with victim via phone in reference to the theft. The victim stated he noticed the tag on his 2012 Pathfinder was missing at around 0800 this date, when he picked it up from his ex-wife. The victim stated he last saw the tag on the vehicle back in April of 2019, when it was parked at the above address. There is no suspect info. The victim was given report info in order to obtain a new tag. The tag was entered as stolen.
1515 south Smith Street- Theft-
Upon speaking with the complainant, she stated sometime between 1600 hrs on 05/05/2020 and 1500 hrs on 05/07/2020, an unknown subject removed the license plate (TN# CGG836) from her 2006 white BMW 328i. The complainant stated she did not have any suspect information. The license plate was entered in NCIC as stolen.
6947 Tiffany Lane-Burglary-
The reporting party stated a white female known as Misty Combs entered his home without his permission and took his leather wallet. The victim stated that he left the front door unlocked by mistake and went upstairs to his bedroom. The victim further stated that at approximately 0745, he heard an alert through his Blink Security Camera Application and went downstairs to investigate. The victim stated that he found Combs in his kitchen and saw his wallet tucked into the front of her pants. The victim stated that he confronted Combs and she exited the kitchen into his garage where she was able to flee the area in a blue SUV. The victim was able to show police video for the incident through his Blink Security Camera application. Warrants to follow.

May 07 – Night Shift
4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:
Police served Labrandon Richards an Alias Capias warrant for Driving on a Suspended License. Police transported Richards to the Hamilton County Jail.
724 Astor Lane / Domestic Assault:
A woman reported that her boyfriend’s brother that lives with them, kicked open her bedroom door and as a result of an argument, Nickolas Mallett threw a coke bottle at her. She is six months pregnant and feared that he was going to hurt her or her unborn child. Warrants are pending.
4214 Ringgold Road / Theft Supplement:
ERPD verified a stolen License tag. CPD stopped a car displaying a TN tag, 5M53F6 reported stolen from 6514 Ringgold Road. CPD placed the tag in their property, NCIC removed the tag from their system.
728 Frawley Rd #204 / Disorder:
Police responded to this location and made contact with the mother and grandmother of a 3-year-old juvenile who was bitten by another child on the playground. The grandmother was upset at the mom for not keeping a closer watch on the child.
6650 Ringgold Road/ Disorder:
Police responded to the La Quinta Inn for a disorder and made contact with a Shelly Moore party. Moore had valid Hamilton County warrants and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
6515 Ringgold Road/ Business Check:
While conducting a business check at the Mapco police encountered yet again another Chattanooga Police Officer dropping off a white male. Police spoke with the male while CPD was still on scene, he had requested to be transported to the Browns Ferry exit where his sister was stranded with a flat tire on the interstate. Yet CPD decided to drop the person off at the Mapco in East Ridge where he could call an Uber. The male stated he told CPD he couldn’t get an Uber. ERPD transported the male back to Chattanooga at the location that he needed to go.
4412 Bennett Road / Traffic Stop / Arrest:
Robert Clark was arrested for speeding, financial responsibility, driving on suspended, disorderly conduct, and evading arrest after a traffic stop was conducted at this address. Clark became irate with officers after he was informed that his vehicle was going to be towed and became disorderly, standing in the roadway and continually screaming and refusing officer’s instructions to move out of the roadway and leave the scene.
4340 Ringgold Road / Disorder:
Police were called to the parking lot of Pizza Hut for unknown trouble after staff observed two parties inside a vehicle that appeared to be struggling over a weapon. The vehicle was located stopped in the roadway at 1527 McBrien Road. Sydney Rader was arrested for domestic assault after punching her boyfriend in the face, busting his nose during an argument over her vehicle breaking down. Conditions were served.

May 08 – Day Shift
6514 Ringgold Rd (Shoplifting):
An unknown white female attempted to shoplift several food items from the Mapco. All items were recovered after she fled on foot. Mapco does not wish to pursue charges.
724 Astor Lane/ Arrest warrant:
Nickolas Mallet was arrested on a domestic violence warrant out of East Ridge.
182 24 EB/Auto Burglary:
Complainant reported that his vehicle broke down the night prior and was sitting on the side of the interstate. The complainant stated that his vehicle was entered over the night and he was missing eighty dollars in cash, his TN DL and his immigration card.
4150 Ringgold Rd (Criminal Simulation):
The complainant reported receiving $240 worth of counterfeit $20 bills. While police were on scene, he also reported two separated shoplifting incidents that occurred on 5/7/20.

May 08 – Night Shift
4115 East Ridge Dr (warrant service):
Police attempted to serve a warrant on Richard Cox at this address. He was not on seen or failed to answer the door.
4214 Ringgold Road/Stolen Tag-Supplemental:
Chattanooga Police recovered a stolen tag (CGG836) which was stolen on May 7, 2020.
Exit I- I75 NB (Mis. Cite):
Jami Schneller was issued Misdemeanor Citations for Driving on Revoked, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
1410 Mack Smith Rd. (Mental Health Crisis):
Police were dispatched to the Budgetel regarding a guest who was suffering from a mental health crisis. The victim was very paranoid and pacing and appeared to be very anxious. Police transported the victim to Park Ridge East Hospital. No Further police action was taken.
6701 Ringgold Rd. (Vehicle recovery):
While on patrol, police located a suspicious vehicle at this location. After having the VIN run through dispatch, the vehicle was confirmed stolen. The owner was notified, and the vehicle was removed from NCIC.
6600 Ringgold Rd (Assist other):
Kenta Dozier was pursued by CPD into East Ridge. Dozier ‘s vehicle was spiked on Frawley Rd and taken into custody in the 6600 block of Ringgold Rd. CPD took custody of the suspect.

May 09 – Day Shift
501 S. Moore Road (auto burglary):
The complainant reported that his Subaru was entered during the night while parked in the parking lot of OLPH. The complainant reported that a bottle opener was stolen.
1868 Prigmore Road (drug arrest):
Christopher Zimmerman was arrested for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at this location.
4214 Ringgold Road (arrest warrant):
Tara Morrison was arrested on an active warrant for evading arrest.
6004 Graston Avenue (residential fire):
Police responded to this address in reference to a residential fire caused by a buildup of dryer lint.
802 McHann Drive (theft):
The resident reported the theft of a Ryobi miter saw and Ryobi chainsaw from his driveway. Security footage timeframe shows the theft occurred between 0346 and 0524 hours yesterday.
3604 Missionaire Avenue (theft from auto):
The complainant reported the theft of gasoline from both her vehicles. She suspects her neighbor, but she has no proof at this time.

May 09 – Night Shift
601 Walnut St. (warrant svc):
Misty Combs was served with East Ridge warrants for Aggravated Burglary, and Criminal Trespass, at the Hamilton County Jail.
6700 Ringgold Rd. (Mis. Citation):
Cody Bell was issued misdemeanor citations for driving with no license and criminal impersonation, following a traffic stop at this location. Mr. Bell also had warrants out of Nashville TN for parole violations and they would come pick him up. Mr. Bell was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
4214 Ringgold Road/Arrest-Warrant:
Tara R. Morrison was arrested on Evading warrant and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
3900 Ringgold Road/Broken Down Auto:
Police assisted a female with changing a flat tire.

May 10 – Day Shift
6404 Ringgold Road (bomb threat):
An unknown male phoned in a bomb threat at Burger King shortly after a suspicious male threw an unknown item inside an interior garbage can before quickly leaving. The property was evacuated. CPD Bomb Squad responded and cleared the building without locating anything suspicious.
1410 Mack Smith Road (vandalism):
The complainant’s vehicle won’t start after it had an unknown substance put into the gas tank last night. Security footage shows the suspect is his girlfriend who he had been arguing with earlier yesterday evening.

711 Summit Ave (Disorder):
Officers were dispatched to 711 Summit Ave on a disorder between multiple male and female parties in the street arguing. Upon arrival no one was located.
908 Harris Ln. (shots fired):
Police were dispatched to this area regarding a neighbor hearing what sounded like a gun shot. Police spoke with the resident at this address who stated they had shot a fire work off in the driveway
