Day Shift May 9
24-005930 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Harassment – The caller told police he was being harassed by a friend. The party had asked the resident if she could have her new debit card mailed to his apartment since she does not have a permanent address. Once the card arrived the owner allegedly gave the resident permission to use the card to repay some favors. The card owner is now accusing him of owing her money. The RP was advised to block the number and contact police if the issues continue.
24-005920 – 3100 BLK Ringgold Road– Traffic Hazard – Officers assisted in turning a tractor trailer around before it entered the Bachman Tunnel.
24-005919 – 3600 BLK John Sims Road – Traffic Hazard – Police responded to a tree blocking the entire roadway making John Sims Road unpassable. The Street Department was notified.
24-005938 – 700 BLK Donaldson Road – Traffic Hazard – Officers responded to a tree down partially blocking roadway. The tree was removed by police.
24-005943 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A subject was arrested on an outstanding East Ridge Warrant.
24-005939 – 1400 BLK Marlboro Avenue – Theft – The resident reported an unknown party fraudulently signed for his mail, which contained his Georgia renewal decal. There is no suspect information currently.
Night Shift May 9
24-005963 – 3200 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – A man was taken into custody for DUI – Alcohol, Open Container, and Driving While Unlicensed following a traffic stop at this location.
24-005964 – 3600 BLK Phelps Street – Residential Fire – ERPD assisted the Fire Department on a fully engulfed residential structure. The residents in the home were able to leave the house without injury. Investigators will examine the structure and evidence to determine the source and cause of the fire.
24-005956 – 6800 BLK Martha Avenue – Animal Call – The caller reported a snake behind their house. Police found a black King Snake that was wrapped up in landscaping mesh and could not freely move. Police used emergency shears to remove the mesh, then moved the snake to a safe environment.
24-005959 – 5300 Ringgold Road – DUI / Arrest – A party was taken into custody for DUI following a traffic crash. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail on the charge of DUI and issued multiple traffic citations.
24-005947 – 6800 BLK Martha Avenue – Missing Adult – A man wished to report his wife missing. Police were advised by a witness that they saw her leave on her own accord and enter a ride share. No further action was taken.
