Day Shift March 7
24-002511- 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- Police served outstanding arrest warrants on Edward Dewayne Duckett at the Hamilton County Jail for two counts of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, evading, and theft over $10,000.
24-002868- 3900 BLK Bennett Road- Disorder- The caller advised he was arguing with his live-in girlfriend. The girlfriend was gone upon arrival. Officers determined the disorder was verbal only.
24-002869- 4200 BLK Spriggs Street- Vehicle Burglary- The victim said her vehicle had been broken into between the hours of 2300 on 03/06/2023 and 0700 on 03/07/2024. She gave the police a list of several items stolen from her vehicle. She has no cameras on the property and has no description of a suspect.
24-002878- 4100 BLK Ringgold Rd- Abandoned Property- The reporting party stated there was an abandoned electric scooter in the bushes. Police checked the scooter and determined it was not stolen.
24-002879- 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Suspicious Vehicle- Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked behind the hotel. The vehicle had two bullet holes in the back window. Police contacted the owner who stated he had permission to park the vehicle at this location.
24-002880- 1500 BLK Burns Avenue- Suspicious Person- The reporting party stated they saw a man walking down the road with a firearm. Officers contacted the individual and determined he was simply exercising his second amendment rights.
24-002883- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Suspicious Person- A subject was observed by Loss Prevention when he removed a firearm magazine from the packaging and placed it in the firearm he was carrying. He then concealed it under his shirt. The man then removed the magazine and placed it back in the destroyed packaging and back on the shelf. Loss Prevention requested he be criminally trespassed from the property but declined to prosecute for theft.
24-002891- 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A party was served three East Ridge warrants at the jail.
24-002894- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A man was served an East Ridge warrant at the jail.
Night Shift March 7
24-002853 – 4300 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Animal Call – Police responded to reports of an animal in distress. Police observed the dog to be healthy and barking at the dog owner’s children who were playing in a neighbor’s yard.
24-002898 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Felony Evading – Police attempted a traffic stop with a silver Volkswagen Van bearing a TN temporary registration for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle continued North on Belvoir refusing to stop. The vehicle was BOLO’d to surrounding agencies.
24-002906 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Citizen Assist – Police assisted a party by giving her a courtesy ride back to her house on McBrien Rd. She stated she needs animal services to come to her location whenever they are available next to check on a monkey that allegedly is inside her residence. No such monkey was observed at this time.
