Day Shift March 5
24-002779 – 4500 BLK Bennett Road – Disorder – Police responded to a disorder between a contract street maintenance crew and a homeowner. The disorder was verbal in nature only.
24-002790 – 3400 BLK Shadowlawn Drive – Assist EMS – Officers were dispatched on report of an unconscious male in the backyard of this address. While enroute the call was upgraded to CPR in progress. The party had been cutting a tree when he lost consciousness. CPR was continued by EMS, and he was transported to a local hospital.
24-0027866- 3600 BLK Helen Lane- Check Well Being- A party called wanting police to check on her 12-year-old son at this address after she was told he was on a bus to Georgia by himself. Officers spoke with an SRO who stated the juvenile was at school and safe. The vague wellbeing check requests are an ongoing issue with the child’s non-custodial parent.
Night Shift March 5
24-002803 – 1200 BLK John Ross Road – Disorder Prevention – Police stood by while two parties traversed a civil issue regarding their shared residence. This was done without incident.
24-002762 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft in Progress / Warrant Service – Police observed a party skip-scan multiple items before making contact and taking her into custody for her warrants of Theft of Property (Shoplifting) and Criminal Conspiracy. When her daughter came to bond her out, she was taken into custody for her warrants of Theft of Property (Shoplifting) and Criminal Conspiracy. Loss prevention is investigating the duo’s recent purchases and will be contacting ERPD about pressing charges at a later time.
24-002797 – 4150 Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police observed a man standing over an elderly female in a motorized wheelchair, yelling and cussing at her angrily, because he believes she stole his parking spot. Police instructed the man to step back from her multiple times and were met with active resistance when he failed to comply and was being escorted away from her. As the victims refused to press charges and left before they could be identified, no charges were sought.
