The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
March 29 Day Shift
21-004176- 6008 Welworth Avenue- Vehicle Burglary-
On arrival police met with the resident. She advised overnight between midnight and this morning around 0730 hours $200 was taken from her 2011 Cadillac SRX. She also noted her 2011 Dodge Charger was entered and ransacked and her 2003 Toyota Camry was entered and ransacked. The resident notes all vehicles were left unlocked and unsecured. She notes no damage to the three vehicles and the only stolen property was the $200 from the Cadillac. There was nothing on scene found to process and there are no suspects.
21-004177- 822 Belvoir Terrace- Vehicle Burglary-
Police spoke with the complainant via phone in reference to a theft from vehicle. The complainant advised around 0230 hours this date, he heard some suspicious noises outside of his residence, but did not think anything of it at the time. He stated when he went to his vehicle this morning, he noticed his Ruger LC .380 was missing from the glovebox. There is no suspect information. The firearm was entered in NCIC,
21-004178- 5001 Kenton Drive- Vehicle Burglary-
On arrival police met with the resident. She advised her 2017 Acura had been entered some time overnight after 2200 hours on 3/28/2021. She reported she noticed her vehicle had been entered and ransacked on 3/29/2021 around 0734 hours. The resident reports no damage to her vehicle, and nothing removed or stolen. The resident’s home camera footage was reviewed and showed no suspects entering her vehicle. Nothing on scene was found to process at this time.
No number assigned- 4246 Kenton Drive- Vehicle Burglary-
While on scene at 5001 the resident at 4246 approached officers and advised his vehicle had also been entered during the night. He advised all he was missing was an unknown amount of change. He declined to file a report but requested an extra watch.
21-004181- 6401 Ringgold Road (McDonald’s)- Panhandler-
The caller advised of an adult male with several children begging for money at the business. On arrival the male and children had already left the area.
21-004186- 6721 Ringgold Road (Family Dollar)-
Suspicious Vehicle/Person- The caller advised of a white male in a white car circling the building. On arrival the suspicious vehicle/person had already left the area.
21-004188- 5 Ridgeside Road- Vehicle Burglary-
Police spoke to the complainant via phone in reference to a theft from vehicle. The complainant advised his vehicle was entered via an unlocked driver’s door and his blue wallet containing miscellaneous cards was taken. He stated the Ring camera at this location showed an individual in a light-colored hoodie walk from the direction of his vehicle at 0530 hours this date. There is no other suspect information.
21-004189- South Seminole @ Bennett Road- Found Property-
A set of keys was turned in to the office by an unknown person advising they were found at the above location. The keys were entered in property.
21-004192- 639 Camp Jordan Parkway (Chick Fil A)-
Unconscious Person- The caller advised two unconscious females parked in the lot. On arrival police and EMS contacted the two. One female was transported to Parkridge East. The second, Amy Loans was sent on her way after locating a nonextraditable warrant out of Walker County Georgia.
21-004193- 1709 Prigmore Road- Vehicle Burglary-
The caller reported today she noticed her Smith & Wesson handgun was missing from her vehicle. She was unable to provide a time frame for the theft. The handgun was entered in NCIC.
March 29 Night Shift
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Disorder Prevention 21-004205):
Police assisted a party while she collected her personal belongings.
4300 Ringgold Rd (Evading Arrest 21-004207):
Police initiated a traffic stop on a red Volvo. The driver identified himself as Cooper Stapleton. A warrants check revealed numerous warrants for Stapleton’s arrest. Officers asked Stapleton to exit his vehicle. He rolled up his window and fled at a high rate of speed. Police did not pursue. Warrants will be sought for evading and driving while revoked. The vehicle was located unoccupied a short time later in the 5300 block of Brainerd Road by Chattanooga Police.
4401 Ringgold Road (Arrest 21-004201):
Police arrested Jessica Holliday on an outstanding East Ridge warrant.
1417 ST Thomas Street (Suspicious Activity 21-004204):
Police were called to Motel 6 on a black male wearing red plaid jacket and khaki pants, who was approaching vehicles in the parking lot offering to sell them drugs. Police conducted a field interview of Ricky B. who denied approaching vehicles and attempting to sell drugs. The reporting party wanted to remain anonymous and police had no probable cause to pursue a search of Ricky’s backpack. The man was sent on his way.
