The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
March 25 – Day Shift
1410 Mack Smith Road Room (overdose):
A man was found lying on the floor barely breathing in this room at the Budgetel. Police issued a dose of Narcan which revived him. He was then transported to a local hospital emergency room. (22-004105)
201 Eads Street (domestic assault):
A woman called 911 after her ex-boyfriend assaulted her by grabbing her face and pulling her hair. The man left the apartment after the woman locked herself and her toddler in the bathroom. She declined prosecution and refused to write a statement against her ex-boyfriend. (22-004109)

March 25 – Night Shift
22-004129- 800 block South Germantown Road- Animal Call-
Police were dispatched to this location to check wellbeing on a dog in distress. Upon arrival Police located a dog drowning in an above ground pool in the back yard. Police were able to retrieve the dog from the pool and a copy of the report is being forwarded to animal services.
22-004135- 1600 block Heather Street- Arrest-Aggravated Domestic Assault-
A man was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault after juvenile child called and reported her father was choking her mother. A DCS report was filed.
22-004140- 6725 Ringgold Road- Arrest-Burglary-Business-
Police responded to a burglary in progress at the Chattanooga Mercantile. Upon arrival, police located a rear door to the building that was ajar. Police entered the building and found Charles Laurendeau, and Michael Maddux hiding. Laurendeau was taken into custody for burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of schedule I, possession of drug paraphernalia. Maddux was taken into custody for burglary.
22-004143- 6700 block Ringgold Road- Arrest-Domestic Assault-
A man was taken into custody in the 1400 block of St. Thomas Street following a domestic disorder at the Circle K across the street. It was determined that he had assaulted his boyfriend by scratching his neck and face. He was transported to Silverdale without incident.

March 26 – Day Shift
4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Christopher Zimmerman was served with a capias for failure to comply for possession of heroin while in custody at the jail. (22-004162)
1000 block Greenslake Road (missing juvenile):
A parent from Guatemala saw that her 14-year-old juvenile daughter listed on a website as missing. The teen was supposed to be with her aunt and uncle at this address. Due to the child’s behavior and lack of supervision the child was removed and placed into State’s custody. Police spoke with family members who were advised to contact family in Guatemala and CPS for updates. (22-003776)
3400 block Shadowlawn Drive (found property):
Administrative representatives for the house and its occupants contacted police after a surprise inspection netted a firearm hidden under a mattress. Residents are not allowed to have firearms on the premises. The weapon was seized and placed into P&E pending further investigation. (22-004175)
3400 Lisa Drive (suspected child abuse):
Several witnesses observed a small child run out of the building. An older teen then came out to grab the child and the child started screaming her mom beat her too hard. When police arrived the residents of the apartment were hostile toward police and refused to speak with officers. Eventually the mother came out to the balcony screaming at police and the witnesses. The male party who refused to identify himself also started to berate police and the witnesses. Finally, the mother brought her children to the balcony and showed her child’s naked rear-end to all those gathered in the parking lot while still screaming obscenities and telling people they should mind their own business. Police will file a report with CPS. (22-004182)

March 26 – Night Shift
22-003110, 22-003268- 6400 block Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service –
Jasper Kroll was also taken into custody on East Ridge warrants to include Domestic Assault, Simple Assault, and Violation of Conditions of Release x 2.
22-004192- 1400 S. Mack Smith Road / Arrest-Traffic:
Joshua W. Ables was arrested on for Driving While License Revoked, Suspended, after being stopped for Improper Turn and Unlawful Display. Ables also had a extraditable warrant out of Georgia.
22-004201- 915 S. Seminole Dr / Arrest:
While located on a traffic stop at 915 South Seminole two vehicles pulled into the parking lot at a high rate of speed. One vehicle was honking its horn at police and advised the other vehicle was chasing them. Police attempted a traffic stop when exiting the parking lot of 915 South Seminole. The suspect vehicle turned off its lights and left at a high rate of speed. Police then observed the vehicle turn onto the next available road which happened to be a dead end. Police captured the suspect at 3100 Mason Drive. Taurus Moore was arrested for felony evading as well as Hamilton County warrants for aggravated burglary and domestic assault.
22-004202- 6400 block Ringgold Rd / Arrest-Warrant:
Billy Bonds was arrested for East Ridge arrest warrants after being encountered during a traffic stop.
22-004203- 6700 Ringgold Road / Arrest:
Following a traffic stop at this location, Derrick Paris was taken into custody for DUI, open container, driving while suspended. Paris was also issued a traffic citation for speeding.
22-004210- 6400 block Ringgold Rd / Arrest-Drugs –
Police overheard a male bicyclist outside of McDonalds screaming on the phone that he was going to jail. Police made contact with the party, identified as Jasper Kroll. He was found to be impaired on Methamphetamine and possessed 1.8 grams of Meth on his person. He was taken into custody on multiple charges including Public Intox and Possession of Methamphetamine.
