March 23- Day Shift
23-003393- 400 BLK Pine Bluff Drive- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a male on a bicycle was looking at houses in the neighborhood. On scene police checked the area but the male was not located.
23-003398- 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road- Suspicious Person- The caller requested police respond and issue a trespass warning to a male sneaking onto the property. On scene police searched the property but the male was never located.
23-003401- 4400 BLK Bennett Road- Narcotics Violation- Police were informed by school SSO of a student in possession of narcotics. The juvenile was detained and transported to JDU.
23-003417- 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Traffic Stop/Drug Arrest- Joseph Osterlund was arrested on narcotics charges following a traffic stop at this location. Police received information from BCSO that Osterlund was wanted. They requested ERPD attempt to contact and detain Osterlund. Once in custody approximately 3.5 ounces of fentanyl was located. Osterlund was charged accordingly.
March 23-Night Shift
23-003426 – 1400 BLK Boyd St – Auto Theft/Escape – Joseph Osterlund escaped police custody and evaded on foot. He was originally under arrest for several felony charges. Police officials said Osterlund was able to slip his handcuffs outside police headquarters when the arresting officer was deactivating his body camera.
Osterlund ran east toward the Title Max on Ringgold Road. Police located Osterlund laying on the ground behind a bush. But, when the officer chasing him was in the process of holstering his firearm and un-holstering his tazer, the six-foot-six inch suspect jumped an eight-foot fence, eluding his pursuer.
Police last saw Osterlund on Boyd Street. The homeowners reported to police that their vehicle was stolen. The keys were in the vehicle and doors were unlocked. Police entered the stolen Mazda CX9 into NCIC. Osterlund is believed to be driving the stolen vehicle and has active arrest warrants for his arrest.

23-003430 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Public Intoxication – A woman was arrested for public intoxication when person unknown called about her being in public appearing intoxicated.
23-003435 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-DUI – A man was arrested for DUI, driving on suspended, and possession of a handgun while under the influence during a traffic stop. He was also issued traffic citations for speeding and failure to maintain lane.
23-003437 – 4300 BLK Greenbriar Road – Property Damage – The resident reported witnessing a white Toyota Pickup with a camper shell on top back into a mailbox post knocking it down. The truck was later involved in auto burglaries.
23-0033438 – 1300 BLK of Ridgefield Circle – Suspicious Activity-Arrest – Police were dispatched regarding a white Toyota pickup and three individuals in the area looking suspicious. When police arrived, the three were seen attempting to get into a black Ford parked on the roadway. After a short chase, two juveniles (a male and a female) were apprehended. The third turned himself in at the police station. The vehicle was found to have been stolen in Marion County, TN.
23-003441 – 300 BLK E. View Drive – Stabbing – Police responded to this address after a male called and stated a female had a knife. Officers arrived on scene and arrested her for aggravated domestic assault after she had stabbed an individual in the hand. There was already a protection order in place from a month prior when she was arrested for domestic assault against the same individual. She was transported to Silverdale without incident.
23-003442 – 700 BLK Dunlap Avenue – Crash- Injuries-Leaving the Scene – Police were dispatched to a crash with unknown injuries involving one of the drivers having left the scene of the crash.
