Day Shift March 13
24-003130 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded after receiving a call from the employees advising a female was asleep in the lobby. Police contacted the woman who was asked to leave the property. Police provided a courtesy ride for the party to a location in Chattanooga at her request.
24-003131 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Miscellaneous – Police responded after a concerned customer called about the business not being open but could hear a female’s voice in the drive-thru menu board welcoming them. It was determined the business was indeed closed and the voice heard was a motion activated recording that was activated as vehicles entered the drive through.
24-003135 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – A concerned citizen called to report a homeless camp was in the woods behind a business.
24-003134 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road- Domestic Disorder – Police contacted two people who were involved in a domestic disorder. The altercation was found only to be verbal, and the parties left without incident.
24-003154- 1400 BLK Prater Road – Miscellaneous – Police were informed that a male was driving on Spring Creek Road waving a handgun out the window of his vehicle. Officers were able to stop the vehicle at Prater Road and Ringgold Road. The driver was removed from the vehicle and a Glock style BB gun was in the driver’s floorboard. He stated he was making an Instagram video. He was issued multiple citations, and the vehicle was turned over to his father. The BB gun will be placed in property and evidence for destruction.
Night Shift March 13
24-003178 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder – Security advised a male patient was being disorderly with the nursing staff. Medical staff advised the man had a CON. Officers assisted staff.
24-003160- 1400 BLK St. Thomas Street – Disorder – Police spoke with two people regarding a disorder and determined that it was verbal only. Dispatch verified that the man was the protected party in a temporary order of protection with the woman. She was arrested for violation of order of protection and transported to the Hamilton County jail.
24-003171- 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder with a weapon- Police spoke with a man regarding a disorder with a weapon. He stated that a black SUV was in front of them with two unknown males in the vehicle. The passenger held what he believed to be a silver handgun out the window, but never pointed it directly at him. He was unable to get any other description. The SUV continued Northbound on I-75.
24-003177 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – Police served an outstanding warrant at the Hamilton County Jail for an Alias Capias – Driving on Revoked.
24-003165 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – Police served an outstanding warrant at the Hamilton County Jail for a Forfeiture Capias – Driving on Revoked.
24-003172 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Arrest – Police contacted a woman who was being disruptive towards other patients and made a threat directed at the hospital. She also refused to leave after asked to do so by an officer and staff. The woman was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-003180 – 3600 BLK Fountain Ave – Aggravated Domestic Assault – The victim advised police she was repeatedly punched and choked by her boyfriend. Police observed injuries consistent with her statement. The suspect left the scene on a bicycle East on Fountain Avenue as police were approaching. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate him. Warrants are being sought for Aggravated Assault.
