The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.
March 11 Day Shift
4400 Bennett Road (East Ridge Middle School)- Active Shooter/Prank Call-
Police responded to the school after receiving a call of a person shot. While en route The SRO was able to determine the call to be a prank. The student responsible was identified quickly and taken into custody. The school was locked down for a short period. The suspect was transported to JDU.
5901 Saint James Avenue- Suspicious Person-
Police observed a black female entering a small wooded lot directly behind 5901 Saint James Avenue. Police have received complaints of homeless parties camping and littering at this location. The female was identified as Ruth T.. Ruth appeared to be a mental health consumer. She was very agitated with police during the encounter. Ruth was criminally trespassed from the property.
3100 Ringgold Road (Tunnels)- Traffic Hazard-
Dispatch advised of an eighteen-wheeler stuck in the tunnel. Upon arrival the truck was gone.
6727 Ringgold Road (Wendy’s)- Indecent Exposure-
The caller advised of a black female removing her shirt as she walked along the Ringgold Road. Upon arrival in the area she was gone.
4012 Wade Drive- Suspicious Activity-
Reporting party observed three adults running through several yards and jumping over fences. Police spoke to several individuals in the area, but the suspects were not located.
4104 Ringgold Road- Criminal Trespass-
The manager of the Salvation Army Thrift Store requested that JT Dylan Griffin be criminally trespassed from the business. The manager stated there had been several past issues with the individual at the store. The manager further stated that Griffin was observed going through the outside donation bins on March 8, 2020 while the business was closed. Police were not able to locate Griffin and were not able to provide him a criminal trespass warning to him.

Night Shift
6501 Ringgold Rd/ Burglary alarm:
Police were dispatched to this location for a burglary alarm. Upon arrival police contacted a janitor for BB&T at the front door. The janitor stated it’s his first day working for Varsity Janitorial based out of Lawrenceville, Ga, and he doesn’t know the code for the alarm but has the key to the front door. The janitor called his supervisor who also didn’t know the code for the alarm but was able to call the alarm company to deactivate the alarm. No further action taken.
4214 Ringgold Road/Arrest-DUI:
Mynor D. Mauricio Hernandez was arrested for DUI.
4222 Ringgold Road/Assist Motorist:
Two females traveling to Chicago requested help with changing a tire.
3100 Ringgold Rd / Warrant Service:
Jonathan Foster was taken into custody for several Hamilton County and COPD warrants following a traffic stop at this location.
6404 Ringgold Rd. / Overdose:
Police conducted a traffic stop at this location for a light law violation upon making contact with the occupants of the vehicle the rear passenger was unresponsive. The driver advised he took too much medicine. Police contacted Fire and EMS to respond. Police further located the male party’s prescriptions and noticed they were empty after only being filled a few days prior. Report on File.
Altimaha @ Connell / Consensual:
Police made contact with Dylan Griffith and notified him the Salvation Army requested he receive a trespass warning to stay off their property. Griffith advised he understood and would not return.
